I learned the hard way when making a torpedo run to turn off the launchers on the side of the ship opposite you are trying to fire from because they will stay active and try to fire when ever they get in arc.... which it likes to do when one of your own ships are passing by. I had an Atlanta cruiser make a run and then turn 180 just to launch torpedoes right into one of my passing destroyers, the Admiralty was not impressed.

Loved the video @Wolfpack345! Can't wait for the next video man! The main thing to remember about the Atlanta-class Light Anti-Aircraft Cruisers is that they were originally intended to act as Destroyer Leaders but because they had Metric, Imperial and American Butt Tons of Anti-Aircraft Guns as well as 8 Twin 5"/38 Caliber Guns they were used in a multitude of roles from Radar Pickett to Anti-Aircraft Support. They had Sonar, Depth Charges and Torpedoes as part of their armament so having them help with Sub Hunts is Really good because you can have 2-3 destroyers go in and make a Depth Charge Attack while the Atlanta just Stays back and keeps the Sub Spotted.

Just a few general observations as a player. 1- build an airfield on 3 and immediately port to 3. It allows you to rearm ships (also CVs) without 75h delays. 2- you have a lot of everything in Australia. 3- really check what you are buying for transport and oilers. There are tremendous differences (for example, one type of oiler has capacity 400 not 100 etc.). 4- take a smaller supply convoy (preferably from better types) and transport engineering and oil from Australia. It takes like 3-4 days to get to Rennell island, but it is really worth it. And again and again. 5- Smaller cruiser force is capable of bombarding Shortland island. It really helps in the long run to suppress ports and airfields there to 0. 6- Start manually firing. With little training you are capable of deleting enemy ships like pieces of cake. I was against it but it is really helping and rewarding. Rgrds.
