Dulce….i remember watching your videos WAY BACK WHEN your KZbin was called DulceCandy87 I believe. I used to watch you do your makeup while in your army uniform. I feel like I remember you doing that in your closet haha? I just remember a whole bunch of clothes in the background and you talking to the camera. I was like..12 years old watching you and I felt so much respect and pride in seeing you then and seeing you now. Thank you for doing this podcast because I learned so much. ❤

Dulce I really enjoyed this particular episode. As a long time viewer, I have always been somewhat curious about your and Jesse’s time in the military. It also nice to see you on camera with Jesse. I think I remember you saying he’s not super comfortable on camera but I would love to see more couples related podcasts with you both if you both are open to it. ❤

I Can see how helpful this video will be to to people concidering the army and to fellow veterans ❤ . I think Jesse starting realestae to have a non profit to help out the homeless Vets is an incredible goal, Bless his soul. Thank you for serving this country and Happy Veterans Day. Thank you Dulce and your husband for your service. As a military wife I really identified with you when I discovered you on Instagram over 10 years ago. My husband is now an army disabled veteran and we’re about the same age as you and your husband. The work that both of you are doing is amazing and god willing your husband will make that project a reality and haven for other veterans.

My husband was in for 13 years. Honey the ptsd and the army messing up his pay on a level in which we almost lost everything…I was glad when he got out. It’s so much on you’re health, mental health and etc. Although he’s grateful for his experience; he’d never do it again. He’s now in the process of trying to get 100% disability and is at 70%. I wish I could just call y’all lol

I know there’s a bunch of companies out there that do this but my husband is using vet guardian and they are helping him a lot to try to get to 100%

Thank you both of you for your service, and your honesty. As my ex- husband was in the Army. I lived outside of Fort Sill, Lawton Oklahoma in 1998-1999 . I was 23 and he was 29 after a year he got out due to a medical discharge. All of this was done in early 2000. Being a military wife at the time was difficult, and later dealing with his health issues but as a military wife at the time it’s an experience I will never forget. It changed me as a person. Yes the VA process is cumbersome. Glad to hear there are many programs in the VA because in 2000 nothing was available. Thank you for your honesty from a woman perspective.

My husband is a disabled combat veteran but is too proud to get increased benefits. It makes me proud of him and his resolve.

I thank you for putting this podcast out! I recently found out that one of the Marines I used to work with took her life and she has a daughter the same age as mine. We worked together for almost four years and we both had a rough time in. I wish so many more Veterans like myself and you sought more resources because they help so much but sadly some just don't or don't want anything to do with the VA. Thank you for your service, Happy Veterans Day, and for bringing awareness!

No one knows what we go through. The VA has so many resources I am currently going through my transitioning process from active duty back to civilian life. PTSD is a monster so if anyone really needs help the crisis line is 988.

I have a boyfriend who is a veteran and is seeking assistance with his benefits and disability. As the VA isn’t always helpful and my boyfriend has been struggling with his disability benefits. What irks me is people who don’t need assistance but are bleeding the system… all of a sudden everyone has PTSD. Even if they never saw combat or even had an injury. But people who actually have physical or mental issues are struggling to get their benefits.
