Warcraft 3 FT Hard Undead 8 - A Symphony of Frost & Flame

+ A long time coming + The Ascension.
Last mission of Warcraft 3. Oh boy !
Clean the naga base grab the gold mine then take the South Obelisk and haunt the gold mine too.
Fortify the South Obelisk defend it against the first rush, then attack illidan after he clean'd the West Obelisk, then steal it and grab the 3rd Gold mine.
Fortify the West Obelisk And now CAMP to gather gold/research for a while.
Grab the 4th Gold mine ( West side of the map ), Build an army full of wyrms/Abomination defend a base against Illidan/Vashj you'll be free to attack the East Obelisk and capture it.
Here's the Hardest part. The North Obelisk has the most defense/units so the deal is to rebuild your army after capturing/defending the East Obelisk then
Rush the North Obelisk with all your units while Arthas is capturing it, wait for Illidan to attack West or South Obelisk, force attack on Illidan so he won't be able to control it after destroying your defense.
Grab the 4th Obelisk & win !
Enjoy the cinematic in 720p and the Fight of Arthas/Illidan + The Credits :D
It took me 3hours to complete this mission and something like 8 saves + 20~ Loading.
The Warcraft 3 Walkthrough Hard is now complete i hope it'll help people.

General Tips :
-Illidan will burn all your mana don't be afraid to cast every spells you have.
-Build a ton of Spirit Towers/Necropolis
-Arthas is low level when starting this mission camp so you can get level.

Just an FYI to anyone trying this mission USE DESTROYERS!!! 3-4 ought to be fine, use their devour ability and aoe magic dmg wreck face with them. Devour also heals them which helps a lot Kill off Kael base first, then Lady Vashj base, and win easy. Don't build frost wyrms except for maybe 1, huge money sink and food wastage. Try to bank gold at no or low income, and then get your miners off gold at high income. only put them back on when back at low or no income. My genral army was 3-4 Destroyers so consume all the frost armors, slows, poisons, infestations, tornadoes, etc 3-4 necros for skeleton army 1-2 banshee for curse 1-2 meat wagon for skeleton/beetle army and beating bases 2-3 obelisks for health and mana xx Crypt fiends to fill out the rest of your food limit.

Arexsis Don't you use some abominations ? I agree that toi need some crypt fiends for the aerian units, but abominations are kinda strong with tankiness and huge dmg ! Idk i'm trying to win it atm it's hard xd

I always use an army of destroyers and like 3 or 4 frost wyrms and it wipes out any of the opposing Arnie's. Abominations just don't work as well, sure they can take damage but they're close range melee fighters.

Honestly Necrowagon cheeses this. AI doesn't know to use dispel, so mass skellies will overrun anything.

It sucks in wc3 you must always be in the side that outnumbered, even in story. When you are illidan and Malfurionyou are outnumbered by the undead. When you are blood elves and Naga you are also out numbered by the undead. Now you are undead and you are outnumbered by Nagas and blood elves. That consistency bro.

Btw. Ice crown here looks different than in Wow. the frozen throne in wow has like a huge Fight area where as this you take a few steps then you fall to your death. can somebody explain why?

Well in WoW Illidan somehow survived,all Dreadlords come back for no reason other then nostalgia. Cenarius dies like 20 more times and generally has more shitty retcons for the sake of getting WC3 players in WoW. Like originally Tichondrius says LK foraged Frostmourne himself and then it's retconed 50 times over. So yeah an arena conveniently placed for a final boss fight checks out for WoW.

Did you choose not to abuse the AI limitations as a challenge? This mission is not that hard if you mass towers at the west obelisk and simply bait Kael and illidan forces to fight under them and send meat wagons to clear the base after. Teal is very weak and can be cleared without these tactics.

Undead is by far the easiest TFT hard campaign, you just spam necros and skellies, the AI doesn't know how to deal with them at all.

This was not hard, but normal difficulty, because Kael did not come to attack your base. And you were wasting a lot of time. Or maybe I am Wrong. Well for me it took a lot of days to beat all the missions of w3 roc and tft hard mode, including this one. Arthas and Anub'arak alone destroy all 3 enemies.

Pretty easy with town portal scrolls. Also Anub''arak can solo defense with half of the army and undead towers if the attacking team doesn't have Illidan.

not really, u just need to know when to sacrifice obelisks and take obelisks and prtoect obelisks, taking the naga base at the beginning is noto even nessasary, u would just have 1 more thing to defend

In normal Illidan's first obelisk base does not have many royal guards defending if I recall.
