Awesome! Warcry was my main game during the Pandemic lockdown. It was the only game my sister would play with me because the games are quick, and the rules are lighter than AoS or 40k.

While the Warcry Companion downloads are greatly appreciated, I unfortunately have a few warbands using Underworld mini's and those were left out of these lists. Hopefully those are all in a separate download later this week.

I have the same concerns... the more noise we make about the more likely i hope GW will address this. There were actually some pretty cool models with decent rules from underworlds in the last edition. Molag seemed like a good example of a cheaper "junior" Dankhold Trog for example - from the same warband there was also a unique flying squig. Maybe they plan to have these in compendium and we are just gonna have to buy that book? Less than ideal but better than not having them at all. Frankly it would be absolutely dumb of GW not to keep allowing the underworlds models into Warcry as its an excellent way to bring in people who are already doing Underworlds (some of whom are actually also originally Magic players in some cases) - from a sales/marketing standpoint its a no brainer for GW.

Yeah I kinda think so myself. I see a lot of debate in regards to the cost of this box verses previous Warcry boxes... Although the other boxes had more stuff (specifically terrain) it actually translated to more stuff to put together and paint before you could actually play a full prepared/assembled/painted game. This box seems good if you want to just get to playing as quickly as possible - for people like me that is a actually a plus. Sometimes for some people (like myself) quality verses quantity is better. Part of what kept me out of Warcry before was the "extra projects" it would create for me. This time it's different for me.

I noticed there are no official rules for them yet so I have been using mine as Heroes in warbands that need more heroes... I have no knowledge about their future, but I wouldn't be too surprised to see them pop up in future White Dwarfs 🤔

So is "flying" still a teleport that ignores any vertical distances in a 3d game? That is one of my biggest gripe with Warcry! I can't stand that you can teleport behind or onto any obstacle no matter how high it is if you can fly. Oh and thanks for actually not downplaying how advantageous high toughness is. Others mostly act as if toughness doesn't matter and claim a "toughness tax" for high toughness chars.

From what I’ve seen, you cannot fly when carrying treasure, and your move is reduced by 2”. So you can use your flying model to transport, but they cannot use their flying ability

I really like the terrain and the poison guys but like.....gifjjfjfjfj the price. I'm gonna wait a few months and see if I cant find a good deal in the future.

People are already parting them out on Ebay. I know that's how I got the terrain for the 1st and 3rd Warcry sets.

Warcry more than Kill Team in that its rules are so quick to remember, where some of Kill Team isn't intuitive... Though I like the combat rules in the new Kill Team a lot and, of course, I get to play with my 40K models. I happily play both

how did you get new players to agree to play on camera? did you promise them cake? did you use the almost inverted pentacle that the straps of your top form to summon these new players & bind them to your will? perhaps you simply asked nicely and said please? : )

I really really really wanted to know about the Campaign ARCS. The new Campaign system from what I've seen is a HUGE downgrade compared to the Branching Quests, but the Campaign ARCS might actually be worthwile and a improvement, but I really wanted to hear from someone who actually put it to the test and played through one or more Arcs, specially the one in the Rot and Ruin book. This is a deal or deal-breaker decision, cause me and my girlfriend would most prefer the narrative side of this game, and the 1.0 version of it looks betters with the Narrative and Branching campaigns from Red Harvest and Tome of Champions 2021.
