My first fun riven was for the Trumna, and it gave me negative reload lol. Thankfully, I just use the "Reload when holstered" mod whenever I use it, and it's not an issue. Though, that M1 Garand PING during reload is gorgeous.

I've said it before in previous videos but I'll repeat it here: Try it with Mesa and Ballistic Battery with Ballistic Bullseye. Primary fire to charge up the Augment and the weapon, pop the BB, and then launch the alt fire into a crowd.

The recoil feel thing is why I have multiple different ranked -recoil mods, so that I can tweak the total recoil reduction to be below 100% I even did it with Counterbalance on the Kuva Hek when I paired it with Energized Munitions Gauss with the new "manual weapons fire continuously" toggle (a 32 round full-auto Hek is quite something 👀)

I've gotta say, separate to anything about the Trumna (which is my baby, I love her). I really like how you've been working with Arcane Avenger lately. I do kinda agree with the people who were iffy about you always having it on. So you doing tests and everything without it I think is very good, it feels similar to you doing tests with and without emerald shards/Harold. It helps show just how external assistance helps a given weapon. Plus, it shows your bias towards upfront damage (so do the shards being on by default, actually). Which is good, because it lets viewers be aware that the builds you make and your judgement of them is going to be skewed by that bias.

This thing is hilarious with Primary Plated Round, it gets an almost 470% damage bonus when you reload an empty mag. It's just a little finnicky as i dont think it's possible to get the fire rate high enough to empty the magazine in 10 seconds so no permanent uptime on the damage bonus. On the plus side, you only need to empty a little more than half the mag to match the bonus given merciless/dexterity/deadhead

Just run Merciless and radiated reload lol, brings it down to a little over 2 sec reload speed and feels much more like other rifles this way lol

I was working on getting Forma on the LMG / Hi-Cap-Rifle style weapons year, and the Trumna drove me nuts. Just couldn't figure out how to set it up. Crit delay meant I needed a fire rate mod to compensate, but more fire rate then meant I needed a recoil reducer. I ended up quitting before getting the weapon fully set up, but I came back to a month or so ago, and after a chance chat with my brother, decided this was one weapon I needed to play to its strengths, rather than trying to force it to a certain standard. The build I settled on was rather basic, but proved effective enough for me. Serration, Galv Chamber, Point Strike, Vital Sense, Hammer Shot, Primed Ammo Mutation, and Deadhead. That left me with three flexible slots I could load elemental-status mods into. Still, I had an idea that I wanted to try. Leaning into the weapons Status chance, I wanted to make use of Galv Apti, but seeing as it only had like two status types innately, had to get creative. For that one I'm running Galv Apti and Chamber, Point Strike, Vital Sense, Hunter Munitions, Rime Rounds and Malignant Force for Viral, and Radiated Reload for the extra status type, keeping Deadhead and Primed Mutation. That build is probably the only one in my entire arsenal that doesn't use Serration or a similar mod, but it seems effective enough. In fact I've adapted it for a couple other weapons, like the Basmu and Shedu.

Not sure if this was fixed or not, but if you kill at least five enemies in Zephyr's Tornadoes (her 4) with the Alt Fire, you will get to fire it again. Hold 4 -> pull enemies in with her 2 -> Alt Fire -> repeat. You'll have to get five kills first, of course, but if this still works, you can just Alt Fire afterwards.

One of my favourite guns in the game, the weapon feels so good. Sometimes I bring it to void fissure lua survival with mirage staying up to 1 hour with a squad, I consistently was the top damage and with most kills, even competing with saryn, dante, xaku and other broken frames. I just wish that DE would bring more Deimos-like weapon like sepulcrum and trumna, they're so unique and good feeling

Fun fact about this thing, and I don't know if they fixed this but it was totally true at some point: They went out of their way to do their best to program the Trumna to not let the alt fire charge itself off its own kills... but there's blind spots. If you play as Zephyr, use Tornado, pull things in, and then shoot the alt fire bouncy ball At A Wall, Causing It To Ricochet Into The Tornadoes, the game gets confused enough that it starts counting resultant kills as charging the alt fire. This is, in fact, goofy as hell.

The five seconds would be managable enough for reload depending on what kind of frame your using. Any Area Control skills like Zephyr's tornados or Hydroid's tentacles would more than give you the time for reload while keeping up damaging them. Honestly watching this does make me wanna try that.

I would change the hammer shot for an fire rate mod other than that its an ok build. I know you don't like rivens but one for Polish coffin would be huge. This weapon is one of the few guns that does not need you standard god roll of cc cd multi but one for ease of use like reload, firerate, recoil or some elemental so you can swap an 60/60 mod.

I remember the last build you did on the o'l coffin gun, when you were using Qorvex I pretty much used that build, one-for-one, and even now it still works pretty well, what with the Murmur faction, the status rework, etc. Although I am glad to have access to a build I could try later on down the line, thank you Mr. Internet Man ....Now, why not try some blast-related shenanigans with the Ignis/Ignis Wraith? Hey MC, don't know if you've tried this or gave it thought but... With the cold rework now allowing you to freeze have you given thought to the following? Frost with the Biting Frost augment and a high status per second primary built with Shivering Contagion and cold on it or the Freeze Force augment. I think it has potential since you can forgo all crit chance mods and focus on just critical damage application for the most part. Plus, gives you a valid excuse to run Primary Frostbite! Let's you rely less on your Avalanche to freeze everything and get value out of the augment.

My fav primary weapon, got a cc, cd, fr - reload speed riven for it (with primary merciless and primed fast hands its reload speed is only 3 seconds), its acquisition is probably what's keeping it under DE's radar cause the weapon fairs well even against incarnons

Sence Trumna has innate Heat , you might want to replace Thermite Rounds with Radiated Reaload. That way you getting an extra element for Galvanized Aptitude and bonus reload speed.

Getting the Seriglass shard might be the least annoying part out of this all since you can run activities quickly for the most amount of tokens possible, and then trade excess son tokens for a good amount of standing. Honestly it is hard to NOT have his tokens given how animals just get randomly merc'd around Deimos, you just swoop in and bam, free tokens. Also, big boom, big ammo, big gun, big good.

Absolutely love this thing. It is the only weapon I have three godroll rivens for. This gun only has ONE issue in my experiance, fire rate can be an absolute bitch, but, you can work around it with certain setups.
