The end is where we begin is the name of an album by a canadian band Thousand Foot Crutch, and as musically influenced as DE has been in the past and clearly is now, there's a connection. Especially when you listen to the album. It reminds me of how in the 90s there was a huge disconnect between the underground music scene and the pop boy bands, and the whole story so far feels like a fictional social commentary. The boy band song acts like a "cancer" influencing the masses? And the good guys are quoting rock lyrics? As someone who lived through all that, it feels very familiar. 3:09 Based on the context clues in the scene, and your idea on "TEHNOK", I think the statement would read "Void sees you" or "I see you". Could also be "Void corrupts/takes you", but I doubt it. This is an idea based on the nature of the void we have seen, since "TOHK" is incredibly similar to "LOHK" in writing. Could be something completely different, but it's something to go off of I hope

And for the record, I had zero issue with Glassmaker in terms of mission mechanics, and I found it really unfortunate so many people hated on both the cephalites requiring aim to kill, and the murder mystery investigations to advance the story. I sometimes wonder if we would've gotten more of them had it not received so much negativity.

Too bad Lich/Sister are planned to have that revive mechanic but someone in the department playing too much with pasta code made them spawned after using revive token with lackluster abilities and small amount of firepower.

I think Tohk could mean child, so it would translate to "void, child, tenno," or it could also mean born, so it would translate to "void, born, tenno," or even chosen "void, chosen, tenno". Im kinda leaning to chosen, personally it would fit our tenno very well, being the one that has been chosen by the void. It could have chosen any other child of the zarmon, but it chose ours.

I had noticed something from this vid that now directly ties to the new war. That when the tenno makes the deal is exactly when the drifter gets their powers to defend themselves from natah. This is due to what fibonaci says about the broken strands of khra. In that the tenno don't remember the deal because it hadn't happened yet for them.

Time in this game is not a linear set of events but it actually very well could be because the void itself is paradoxical in nature, and due to the severing of the one digit of the man in the wall time is broken.

That might be the narrative tbh. Since time is a concept we heavily rely on and if that concept is broken, our understanding severely lacks, this just means that it's difficult for us to comprehend what's actually going on. Now with the reveal of the 1999 questline we can see it with our own eyes that the strands of Khra, or time, is currently broken. The fact that time is now broken simply means that it has always been broken as we can not explain the timeline of time being broken while relying on time itself. Sorry for the mess of a comment, I'm sleepy and could not explain my train of thoughts properly

@@TheDsIEGE One of the best examples Destiny players cite is Savathuun's Song, and how it was sort of woven into all the NPC's, like, humming it and speaking in it, etc. And kudos to them on that, that took some creativity. But that's also something that, as far as I know, is not even relevant anymore given where the narrative has gone. While "rap tap tap" may not be a song, per se, it first occurred 7 years ago, and not only is it spawning new songs, but new languages, new meanings, new dimensions (both physical and metaphorical). It's even more relevant now than it was back then. Destiny's music has some good moments, but so little of it is truly consistent across all releases, leading to players getting their hopes up to be wowwed more and more, only to be disappointed. It's no wonder that game is suffering so much.

Loved the video! Forgot about Arlo a bit, and this refresher had an impact on my thoughts of the story. I'm now questioning if he was another Wallie deal maker and how tied to the infestation is Wallie. I believe everyone in 1999 were likely absorbed into the Infested we see or the protogrineer like faction inducted them during the apocalyspe to help fight the infestation. My guess is that eternalism will play a huge role in 1999. Whether that's as an alternate timeline or a loop in our own timeline remains to be seen, especially since the end of earth in the original lore, from what I remember happened centuries before. We also still have the Unum around who has control of time somehow, considering she stopped it temporarily during the New War. I liked the thoughts you brought up about the class and how they could change things. Maybe this is also where the "You are late" line indicates that Albretch's Wallie following this Albretch could stop him from taking his finger, allowing his escape of the Wall of Khra. @@TheDsIEGE well in Code Vein all those enemies are born through the plague and the "Revenant" project spearheaded in order to combat the plagues who also plagued with curse, the curse of blood and if not treated quickly would turn them into a monster. 1999 looks like Code Vein to me since The Hex are made by Entrati to combat The Technocyte, however The Hex are also cursed by Technocyte meaning that their lives are at risk to turned into Technocyte beast. Unlike Code Vein which has a treatment in the form of blood fruit (I forgot the name) which is made from a sacrifice of one of the Revenant to satisfy the Revenant hunger, The Hex seems unable to stabilize themselves as their clock is ticking and would expire a little bit to late as the hunt of Dr Entrati is at hand.

It's like they want to help us, but also wants to handle things themselves, and maybe there's a "drifter" situation going on with our Wallie and Albrecht's Wallie? Maybe the void recurses upon itself? Void united the Zariman "Angels", Void unites the Tenno and their Drifter, Void unites the Caveat, Void unites us with our Warframes. Is that what the void is? A Metaphysical "Glue" similar in vein to the Technocyte? If Wallie is a creation of Albrecht's own fears, wouldn't he have a fear of the Technocyte virus? So many questions.

​@@TheDsIEGE hey if I may, I think you might have made a slight error (like Albrecht Entrati) that might have effected some of your theories. The error in question is when Albrecht described his reaction to seeing his "other self" created by the indifference. Everyone thinks Albrecht was severely injured but 2 major things jumped out at me that imply this assumption to be false. -Khra "I was. Lost and unlost. Howling on the floor in harmony with *my wretched Kalymos* . Lacerated in flesh and heart. Scattered as the bell glass. Spilling blood and stomach on the cold, stone floor." Many think it was Albrecht lacerated but I believe it was Kalymos not Albrecht who was injured why else would he say "Wretched" Kalymos? Also from Khra he claimed that he fled from his "other" how could he have even attempt to if he was so injured? Also there is this in Kalymos' bio "According to Loid, Kalymos was once very sick and was kept in seclusion, but later mysteriously returned healthy. Loid speculates that Kalymos may have been cloned." This is my theory. I believe it was during his trip into the void and the shifting of the bell that caused the Seriglass to be rended and caused the bell to be destroyed caused Seriglass severly damage Kalymos (and killing her) causing Albrecht to clone her out of his sentimentality for her. But all this to say I think Albrecht was never severely harmed during his trip outside of blunt force trauma and him cutting his own hand to ask his daughter Mother to "close it." If you read this thanks it was actually by watching your videos (more than a few time but admission) that I came to this idea. I may be wrong but a LOT of evidence really makes me think I'm hitting that nail with the good ol *Rap...Tap...Tap*

I think this because again Albrecht stated that Kalymos growled right before he ventured off to the void obviously in an attempt to warn Albrecht but all too late. Now notice how Kalymos when standing with Albrecht in 1999 didn't react when the indifference was taking over Albrecht? I also think Kalymos has also been touched by the indifference. Either to keep Kalymos from noticing it or being familiar/comfortable with it as to avoid her interference. Or at worse use her.

God I love your videos. They always get me thinking about posibilities and trying to see other viewpoints in these topics. I often wonder if the Albrecht we're seeking to help and is "aiding" the people in the plague year is actually him, or him taken over by Wally trying to ruin his reputation or use his knowledge for some unknown purpose. Maybe his actions have already been influenced by the indifference without him noticing, thinking he was doing the right thing? Perhaps in some sick twist, the indifference in its infinite chaos is trying to get Albrecht for a "good" reason, and him in his misguided attempts at making things right just went too far and lost his mind to it? There's lots to speculate. I'm sure we'll have plenty to chew on with Lotus Eaters...

KOMEK URU means "Golden Lords" referring to the orokin, although because the order of grammar in void tongue is reversed relative to English, as in Latin or Spanish, "URU" refers to precious metals, and "KOMEK" to leaders or, more often, specifically tyrants. Source: it was revealed to me in a dream, or rather, a fever-pitch nightmare of screaming and hands. Jokes aside, great vid Siege. Worth the delay, of course.

I've ready through tons of comment and have tons of theories but it would take me all day to write an essay for you! What I will say : If you have not played some of the bigger, more important quests without music - do so. A couple of the quests have some surprising whispers and voice lines hidden behind how loud your music is comparatively. (The New War and WiTW being two that stood out to me personally.) I actually have a notebook I keep (We call it the Rebb Book. It's an inside joke between Clan members.) In that book, I take notes and theorize various things for coming updates. Some of my predictions have come true. I cannot wait to see what happens in our next updates as I feel this may be one of the biggest turning points since the events in Apostacy Prologue.

What if both the original Albrecht and the Void Doppelganger Albrecht were active in 1999 but but not simultaneously. Let's say, Albrecht went, established the Protoframes and did at least attempt to heal people, but then at some point he was usurped by the Dopelganger, who then took what he started and twisted it all, leading to the void attuned infestation and that's why the Hex are hunting him and consider him an enemy.... Because they don't know about 2 Albrechts.

The answer of where everybody is in Hollovania is actually way simpler. There's a curfew due to the techrot, and the Hex only venture out at night. If you watch the gameplay demo, there's lights on in the windows. People are still there.

I had been thinking. The next story quest is called Lotus eaters. It was teased that the Lotus and Wally would play a major role in it. Here's the thing: some people theorised that Lotus and Wally are quazi-parents to the Tenno (can't recall where or from whom I heard this theory) so my prediction to that story is that the choices we made during the past quests, determining we stand on the light/equilibrium/dark side of the choices, one of them will tempt us more like the devil and the angel on the shoulders of a cartoon character, trying to persuade you, the Tenno to choose. What to choose? I hypothesize that it may be whether or not should we take the full power of Wally, for the upcoming 1999 quest's possible timeloop/paradox. Or it can be that the Lotus goes missing and we have to save her by going into the belly of the Void, maybe literally and Wally wants to make yet another deal with us to lend his power to us to save her (or we can choose to go save her without the help, making it harder to us but staying in the light side of the choice, pleasing the Lotus' teachings)

I'm realizing now that there are so many different references to the one-two-three or rap-tap-tap appearing everywhere, almost like an audio identification of the void or the presence thereof This may be me reading too much into it but... notice the way "Albrecht" says "You. Are. Late". Its not a smooth single phrase. There's pauses in between each word, an almost deliberate separation of each word. One. Two. Three. Rap. Tap. Tap. Also I find the idea of the 1999 and Origin system infestations being two different entities that are aware of and don't like each other kinda funny, almost like they're siblings bickering. Somewhat ironic(?) considering one of the many strains in the origin system literally has two giant infested worm siblings blasting the goo out of each other every hour. I shudder to imagine the consequences of Fass and Vome gaining a mutual enemy. Speaking of the infestation, I wonder what the heck is going on with Eris. It's the system's dumping point for infested matter at this point. Glimpses of the Eris skybox show it surrounded by a massive ring of infested matter. Surely the hives there are doing something? (Besides Arlo, and maaaaybe Jordas). Eris is several times larger than Deimos, that's a *lot* of infested biomass just hanging around.

So hear me out, what if description at 3:47 is a depection of whats to come in 1999, and maybe the other discriptions also describe what happens further? "From brooding gulfs are beheld by that which bears no name" describes Wally and how the Void can been seen as a sort of ocean, Sevagoth being a "captain" Hydroid being a "pirate" Nautilus is named after an ancient sea creature and is paired with Seva. "Its heralds are the stars it fells" could describe how Wally has already destroyed other universe's before losing his finger to our universe, locking him to ours. "The Sky and Earth aflame. Corporial laws are unwrit." This could be depecting the apocalypse as a whole, and how Wally messing with the past will change our future, laws unwrit. "As Suns and love retreat. To cosmic madness, laws submit." I think this may refer to a Solar Eclipse, depecting that the Sun, and in our time currently, where Stalker resides with his child, blot eachother out, as if both have left. The cosmic madness would be the past bending to Wally's will of changing it. "Carrion hordes trill their profane accord with Eldritch plans" is depecting the Infested and Wally working together, or maybe a new concious controlling the Infested? "To cosmic forms from tangent planes" describes the Operator inserting themselves in the past. I havent read the rest of these, but i wonder what other descriptions of things from Albrect are secrets of whats to come?

If the Void does have some sort of uneasy accord with the infestation it would explain how a Tenno can pilot an Infested person (Warframe) with their void transference powers. It would also explain why infested and Corrupted/Murmur both see you as hostile, an unholy amalgamation of both, not “pure” so to speak.

I think something that should be considered as a line of thought in the future is that we know have a definitive name for Wally: The Indifference. I think this name carries big implications which I think should be something to keep in mind which is the idea that we shouldn't attribute too much malice to the Void. The Void answers to negative emotions but if we think about something like Duviri, the Paradox is what healer the Drifters broken soul that our Operator already had healed by Margulis. In a similiar vein while The Indifference seems display mostly an act of mockery, it doesn't *seem* to actually haunt people in the way Albrecht described it. Infact I propose the idea Albrecht is an unreliable narrator and that his encounter with the Man in the Wall was not actually hostile in any way and simply an overwhelming amount of fear and confusion from interacting with an Eldritch Entity. We also still do not know what the Man's deal with the Operator even is and after Whispers in the Wall he seems to share dissappointment that we're not adhering to our deal. My current view of The Indifference is that it's simply beyond our comprehension at the moment with no definitive malice. It has moments of mockery aswell as moments of trying to warn people and moments of... dissappointment? sadness? It's simply too powerful to understand The Murmur being a perfect example because if their naming is literal, this means simply having the Man in the Wall murmur something creates a living form of whatever he utters.

Hmm, the "make whole" aspect seems more and more plausibel. Considering the indifference and in turn the voids original "state of being", seeking to become once again null and void, and truly indifferent without multitudes of itself, would be in its best interest. It meddling in reality is not its own desire, but the desire of those it has made deals with. Why all these deals, if it only seeks solitude and non-existence once again? Maybe the answer is in the multitudes it is made from, a legion, yes, but somewhat childish and inept in working logically, mainly being driven by the machinations of emotions. The void and the indifference existing in reality is in and of itself a large paradox, a paradox of cosmic and eldritch powers of magnitude to alter reality to a persons desire, which humanities base instincts would most likely seek to exploit. Hmm, maybe the indifference, and by extension, the void is not the real crux of the issue here, maybe it is indeed humanity as it is still ever-seeking in its exploits.

I know the void sterilizes the sentient and the lotus has, allegedly, seen the man in the wall at the end of the new war.. with lotus eaters out it’s clear she is being tempted by wally.. I wonder if he has had no interest in the sentient race at all then.. they have “personalities” as there are constructs such as natah and hunhow which exist as individuals,as well as pazuul (forgot ore goat form name 😅.)
