Ahhh for the heddy days of BAOR shows when the participants helped the traders unload vehicles and slept in the same venue as the trade stands and bring and buy and the only squirreling was lads piling the traders wares to one side to purchase as soon as the till was set up so nobody else could buy before them.

My son had some of his GW models pinched in a GW store at a game they organised :(

Its this sort of thing that puts the youngsters off wargaming, did hew get anything back ?

This happens a lot more than people think, did the figures turn up later or were they gone for good?

@@watchdogwargaming Never a sign of them, I assume someone cleared them up with their own and then just kept them :( To be honest at the time I blamed my son for not watching his own stuff (he is a bit scatterbrained at times). I made a point of reporting it to the GW staff, but they just said there was nothing they could do. Sad but true........

We have put participation games on at 7 Hammerhead shows and never lost anything. Im sorry your experience has been so bad.

​@Watchdog Wargaming as its participation there is little opportunity to take stuff and all the players we come across respect the toys and the experience we give them. Other exhibitors will always keep an eye out if you all have to leave for a minute.
