What an expedition. Poor Vorne!!! 5:07 For Ambushes, all the hostile encounter cards are dealt out first, then covering fire and gambit roles happen as normal (combat p9). 6:44 Remember Covering fire happens BEFORE Gambits!!!! (combat p8) 7:54 When Explorers take a wound, they do NOT lose action dice already rolled. They only lose action dice the NEXT time they roll them (Combat p7). 9:34 Negavolt cultists get a +2 bonus to their save per other Negavolt cultists in the same AND adjacent hexes (Negavolt cultist stat card). 28:42 31:12 When an explorer dies, they lose ALL their resource and discovery cards (rules p14)…...... Love the videos though; not trying to be a rules lawyer just trying to be helpful! Also Halflings please..!!!

What you said about when Explorer's take a wound is very important, so I checked Combat p.7 (and even Rules p.7 and even more than that) but there is nothing about it. Can you please re-check?

@@mantradox There is some disucssion on this on rules forums, however there is nothing in the rules that states that an explorer LOSES activation dice when wounded, only that they lose them the next time activation dice are rolled. Rules p14 - '...when an activation roll is made for an xplorer, each wound or grevious wound reduces the number of dice rolled by one'. It is quite unintuitive, but it does make the game easier as when a Character is wounded they have a chance to respond.

@@misomiso8228 in the official video, they make a bunch of mistakes themselves :-) So I don't follow it. On the other hand, if you don't apply wounds at the time you get them, let's say hostiles were in the first position in the initiative deck, and inflicted damage to an explorer, does it mean, that an explorer can take a recuperate action and successfully heal a wound which is still not inflicted (the wound counter just lays next to an explorer)? Or only wait till the next combat turn, inflict wounds and only then maybe try to heal them?

@@mantradox I read it that it means hostiles can wound an exlporer further down the inititiave track, and when that explorer activates they can use ALL the dice they previously rolled. So an undamaged explorer takes 2 wounds. When his turn comes along he has four dice, and uses two of them to recuperte, one of which is successful, which means at the end of his turn he has one wound left so next activation phases he will roll three dice

Gg. I notice that you often split up the party and that can result in 1 or 2 player's demise whilst the others were unharmed. Would it be better to keep the party together and spread the damage/attacks?

thepavl he might have goofed that because he used the ship ability. To be fair Ash plays a like a thousand games a year lol. Lots of rules to cram in one brain. He plays a bit fast and loose but I still like the videos.

Boardgame Barbarian I like the videos too and they are the only quality videos on these games out there. Still it is very frustrating to see the same mistakes that were pointed out in other videos happen again and again.

thepavl I hear ya bud. I know earlier in the series he recorded a few games in a row before uploading and finding out the goofs. But yes by now he should have it down pat. I think he just plays so fast he misses stuff and doesn’t look back. It’s good though that people catch things and alert another people in the comments so they don’t play it wrong.

Ambush - no shit! Covering fire after gambits - why not? He just neglects the rules of the game, I wonder if other games that he plays are treated the same way. People have been talking about it for months already and his approach is still the same - fuck it! No wonder views are getting low on this channel.
