This is rapidly becoming my favorite miniatures channel on KZbin. I recently started a handful of Atlantic Wargames Halfings for use in Mordheim and have been having a bit of indecision on how to paint them. Maybe... I'll just lift a few techniques from here. Thanks for the vid.

Lobe seeing these miniatures. They look very nice, and you have given them a great paintjob. I like how you set up the pot too, so that it looks like the halflings are acually pulling it while being on separate bases. Really hope we get these units released again for The Old World. Would love to field a Halfling Hotpot in my army.

I have these as well, I have most of the regiments of renown, but I never did paint them, I also have about 50 of the Halflings, I think Ill make a spearmen and bowmen regiment. I really hope they come back.

Great to see the proper way of painting beginning with the Chaos Black undercoat it’s like stepping back into the 90s again, thank you for taking me back to where I wanted to be but I didn’t know anyone who wanted to play so I ended up in the realm of 40k how dull that was. You mentioned regretting losing too much of old hammer toys and I have exactly the same problem thanks to an ex who was actually quoting from the bible even though she didn’t know so… utterly ridiculous woman for making me not keep my toys… 🧸

I really like the halflings that GW produced, I hope they do get to make a return. Strange to mention the Moot if you don’t release some halflings really. The BS of 5 is very high, it would be interesting to see if they do come back if that is the same stat line…strength 2 is certainly some sort of trade off but you would hardly want these guys in hand to hand combat so it is a bit of a moot point (ahem…moving on lol)
