Great to see the Wood Elves getting attention. Lovely finish. Excited for their release next year. If you do more wood elves in the future I would love to see your take on a wild rider or a tree man.

Very nice looking wood elf. All the different greens worked really well, certainly much better than trying to paint him up with a much more limited selection. It must have taken a little bit of time to get him painted up but as you say they do have a lower body count so it offsets. 20 paints is okay….even on VC I used around 10 or so I had been fairly firm on not doing a wood elf faction which we will just have to see long term if I stick to 😂. To be fair I have a number of old metal minis that it would be a shame not to end up using lol

Still got a battalion box to do to go with my old jess Goodwin wood elves so I can do all the forces for perilous quest but only taken about 35 years so far,back in 2nd and 3rd edition my elf army was heavy infantry with high elves with cavalry and scouts and skirmishers added with wood elves and wardancers and hawk riders,it was fun to go with what you wanted,one day I'll get it finished....just 50 more cavalry.

This is an old one, but at some point next year they will get their launch (doubt there will be many new models though).

They’re very good, but match the citadel range well if you needed alternatives.
