Great model, great paint job. Never sure why they had a slayer start wearing an armour plate in the book but fun non the less, the audio with Brian blessed is amazing

I'm very impressed with that ginger hair/beard mix. It reminds me that I think I remember you saying on some livestream that you can sort of eyeball what contrast paints to mix to make equivalents of standard GW paints. Would you mind having a go at Kabalite and/or Lupercal green for me? I've really wanted to try a paint scheme with those colors, but I've pretty much been converted to using contrast paints and underpainting. Terradon turquoise isn't really hitting the sweet spot I want it to.

I think for those colours, it's a mix between Terradon Turquoise and Akhelian Green although I think the mix would have to be to your taste as it were. I'd have a go at 1:1 of the colour and throw in one brush load of Contrast Medium for good measure. I shall continue to ponder it though!

@@Warhipster That's an unexpected answer! I would have thought both colors would be too blue compared to how green lupercal and kabalite are. Thank you for your two cents though!

Awesome! I want to get this just for the model! Will be happy if I can do half a good a job as you have here mate. Love it. Sure it's been asked before but what are your thoughts on the new AP Speed Paints? Been reading a lot about them and they seem to have some genuinely good paints in the range.
