@@re6pr447 I have started doing weighted ones and they seriously provide a big change I don't have much weight so I do 5 reps of 15 kg extra, and that seriously increase pushup power faster in just a few weeks

Thanks guy. After not doing pushups for about 5 years. I recently started again but injured my left shoulder and could not do pushups for another 3 months. When I told my doctor, she asked me if I warm up before doing pushups. Now I have decided to take warming up serious and I will be doing your warmup before my everyday pushups.

Been working out for 3 years and stopped doing pushups 2.5 years ago when I got a benchpress, and at that time my record were 78 pushups at once, but I could barely bench 50kg. Now I can bench 100kg but I can barely do 30 pushups, so I decided to add pushups again to my chest workout

Wew. Im a soon to be Navy sailor. & I do push ups daily but I would always stretch wrong. My time was 1.04 minutes for 50 push up. I shaved 11 seconds off doing these stretches. Im st 53 seconds now. All I gotta do is do 3 sets of 50 daily & my time will decrease.

Did push ups without stretching and I could barely walk for a week. I would stop walking because I felt an immense pain that blocked me from walking. Thank God I am feeling better now, but definitely not doing push ups again without stretching.

Sam nigdy nie lubiłem robić rozgrzewki, dopóki nie naderwałem więzadeł obręczy barkowej z prawej strony. Szkoda, że człowiek uczy się na błędach, ale niech to będzie przestrogą dla innych :P A co do barka, to tylko jest troche słabszy, na szczęście nie na tyle żebym nie mógł ćwiczyć i grać w tenisa stołowego :D

Check for anterior pelvis tilt and rounded shoulders. There are some videos on KZbin about it. Might have to do with posture. Also check out video for the right execution of push ups. I recommend "calisthenics movement". They made a video on that topic. Hope that was helpful.
