Hey not sure what terminal hook set up you are using, the best I have found is a hook called split shot drop shot size 4. Use 2 hook and only put corn on the first hook. Nothing on the trailer hook. This set up help me with not losing as many fish and short strikes.

Nice vid moo, kokes are a good alternative to ocean kings…sort of lol. Hey if you get a chance give Tahoe a chance for kokes. South shore camp Richardson or the keys late July and August. Last year kokes were good size average 13-16in and got a few around 20….

Nice work. Great to see that my wedding ring is still working for you. Couple of tips for you, I normally start trolling at 1.4. When you are getting short strikes, change your speed by a few points. I slow down to 1.2 first, then speed up to 1.6 if that doesn't work. Try using Torpedo weights. They have less drag so you'll get less blow back. See you on the water soon.

Great video! How do you calculate your lure depth with the sliding sinker?
@MooMooOutdoors11 ай бұрын
Thank you. I can see the weight on the fish finder. All depends on the speed, weight of the sinker and weight of the dodger but in general 40 feet out should get you 25 to 30 feet down

TLA, chovy or whatever you want to call him? Haha “I’m kinda skeptical of this tuna oil!?” Haha so many passive aggressive comments 😂 . While you grind for a video I got lunch and we got the same amount of fish 😉

See, I'm not that crazy going after fish sticks. 😂 Get a bell for the rear rod since you don't have front mounted rod holders. See ya on the water.
