Clint is one of the few remaining actors/directors who can be rightly called a legend. He's from a different era; a time when men were men, women were women. There was no in between. He's cut from the same cloth as The Duke, Jimmy Stewart, Kirk Douglas, William Holden, Gary Cooper, Humphrey Bogart, Jimmy Cagney....et. al.

I saw Clint back around 1980 when stationed at DLI, Presidio of Monterey, CA. I was with my first wife (I've only been married four (4) times! 😂😂😂). It was at The Barn in Carmel Valley, a Country and Western hangout. He walked past in front of us, on his way to the bar to get drinks for himself and his date. He glanced at us nicely, like he knew us. I remember I was better dressed than he was that night. That's how down to earth this man is, he's just incredible.
