That is absolutely shocking and thats putting it nice I agree deffo apprentice lol no real blacksmith could let there product leave there hands in that condition I certainly couldn't and 3 spot welds? Why not go across the hole thing and it wouldn't hurt to get the grinder out and smooth off them edges ..that is shocking

Just the sound of the metal on metal makes me cringe, you can hear the quality of it, or more precisely the lack of quality. It’s not even something you can fix up yourself, yeah! send it back. I dread to think of that folding up with a pan of something hot resting on top, those welds look like they could give out even at a low temperature. Saying that, the weld is probably the strongest part.

oh goodness, i got so nervous when i saw the thumbnail. it looked like one of our fire pits for a second because of the rim bit. but phew! it's a different one. if it's crap to you and you won't use it, return it. from what i see, i'm not a fan of this one. weird question, but what's "oaktrack hogger?" cheers! 🛴❤

Oaktrack is a small holding ( mini farm) and hogget is 1-2 year old lamb very tasty meat and Oaktrack sell their own meat from own animals
