My Son used to be on a dark path taking drugs getting into trouble, until he watched GSP One day and said " I want to be like him".. Then one day he started training and he completely changed his life around.. He is now married and has a successful business !

It only takes one thing or person or event to adjust the mindset on being better. I’m glad he was able to make the change in his for the best. That’s not a waste of potential, he was aware that he could do this and he did exactly what he wanted to do, instead of laying around thinking about it. That’s very very impressive. Wish you and your family the best.

I’m 36 now and first started watching mma when I was 21/22. From the time I started to the time he ended his competitive career he was considered a top 2 PFP guy for the entire time he was active. I never cheered for George because I had this xenophobic loyalty for American fighters over the polite Canadian. It wasn’t till he first stepped away that I realized his greatness and that he had more character and class than any opponent he ever faced. A true ambassador for the sport when it was still in its relative infancy stage. Nothing but respect for undoubtedly one of the greatest to ever do it. Your career was a pleasure to witness.

what a great film, Heart and Soil couldn't have a better representative. GSP fought during a period of time in UFC when it was still growing and the competition was incredibly intense. The UFC of today has much clearer guidelines, GSP was and still is a fantastic fighter. Grappling, wrestling, judo, jujitsu are all important life skills to learn, best thing one of the best things you can learn.
