I'm 63 years old and have played and watched golf for 40 plus years. I was anti Liv golf from the start. I decided to give it a chance this year and watched the first tournament in Mexico to see for myself, and to my surprize I loved it. So far from the stuffy atmosphere of the PGA tour show. I liked the relaxed atmosphere, fun music, wearing shorts like we can in real life( it is 2024), shotgun start, which shortens required viewing time, more accessible for viewing options, graphics and leaderboard info is awesome, the team setup is great, it is a game within a game. I have watched all three tournaments since and will definitely continue to do so. World rankings for sure needs to be fixed and the PGA tour will have to up their show if they hope to keep the attention of young people. Just my opinion and no one knows what I like more than me, just saying.

AK shows the diffs between PGA and LIV. AK will be playing on LIV as a wildcard for the rest of the year...LIV is allowing him time to get his game back over the year...call it a rehabilitation of sorts. The guy didn't even knew what a trackman was and DJ had to explain to him...and still he carded 2 x 76's and a closing 74 not having played any competitive golf in 12 years!! And LIV are giving him time to adjust and not pushing him to the front to do interviews etc. Would the PGA have given him that...? #This is for Guy...regarding your remarks on AK and rather have him playing on a lower level to get back. What about Tiger...when was the last time he was able to even finish a golf tournament but still in 2023 he received $$$ millions in PIP money and certainly with Jay received a huge lump of cash from the SSG deal...shouldn't he go play the Korn Ferry to get his game and ability to walk back....? He is also a Has-Been so why not the same standards for him from you... You are obviously a PGA-loyalist and still anti-LIV...maybe you should rather watch the boring PGA Tour...seems to be more up your alley...just saying #And for Rick...LIV is golf even if it's only over 3 days. What you are dishing up on your channel as golf is something else though...maybe you should really consider taking up running permanently and sell your golf equipment cause it obviously are wasted on you!

I gotta disagree with Guy. The amount of pressure he had after 12 years. That's a lifetime and he wasn't golfing during that time. To only shoot 6 and 4 over is very respectable. He easily could have shot in the mid to high 80s. He made a bunch of par putts from 4-7ft and short game was pretty good. I am really interested to see if AK can approve.

Yeah it’s like when you take a break come back and leave a ton of shots out there. He had to knock off the rust and in a few tournaments he will be competitive

Rick! you can totally break your marathon goal! fastest age group for men is 40-49 - the average time for men 40-49 is 4 :17 I know you are younger and therefore statistically slower. so the goal of 4:12 is great and you will be faster than most men your age!

If they played on a tight tree lined course with rough around the greens which meant Rick was forced to use his wedges instead of putting from off the green, then Bully would probably win. For Thick Rick to stand any chance, they need to play on a wide open links style course with no rough when accuracy off the tee wasn't crucial.

Ak was a HUGE hyped guy by PGA players, he was not a darling amongst fans as much as the players all revered him...he was also part of a young group ....immeidate near era was Hunter Mahan, Camillo V and JB Holmes all made their masters debuts...was a load of top talent like recent years...and AK was a "super cool" guy for the crew... IMHO
