So an irregular heartbeat is called a “Cardiac Arrhythmia.” It’s when the heart has improper beating whether it is irregular, too fast, or too slow. But that double beat you mentioned could be “Bigeminy.” This is a type of abnormal heartbeat in which you experience an extra heartbeat every other beat. Definitely consult with your cardiologist and ask them about this. Be sure to describe it to them the way you did here.

I asked my mom(Who's a nurse) What may have been the problem and she said it's nothing too serious but it can be treated with a thingie where they put it under the skin and it feeds the heart blood to make it run normally... I had a health scare too recently and while I'm not scared or concerned abt death/paralysis etc I still wrote down everything for my socials i.e passwords, aesthetic goals etc etc and the people I give permission to access said profiles too. very scary stuff to think abt but it gives me stability in a way to write it all down as a form of hard copy file and have it in a safe place for any future issues..... paranoia or ......smart? happy holidays my guy stay chill. ((forgot to add this so editing it in but this also included how I'd prefer my body to be cared for if I was left w more sever affects like paralysis or coma, or even death, if I wanted to remain hooked up, who do I give permissions to give orders abt my body's care, etc etc it was a lot of she'll shock thinking but I still wrote so much down and one of my parent knows vocally now what I'd prefer and yeah. idk))

May I offer a suggestion? If you can, in a notebook, write down a schedule of everything that happened that day right up until you had your irregular heartbeat. Meals, activities, everything. That info might be helpful for your doctor, and writing these things down will help you remember as well.

I’ve also had heart problems, not the same as yours, mine is just low heart function and my most recent big heart problem was last year my second year of high school and one day I just felt my heart rate go up so to be safe I went to the nurse and they sent me home and once I got home I checked my heart rate and it went back down so I stayed home with my sister to be safe and my mom went to the store and I suddenly felt it go up again so I put my heart monitor on to see and it was around 130 so mom got nervous that I might be having a heart attack so we went to the hospital and got blood, got a heart scan and everything came out fine so they put a heart monitor on and a few days or weeks later we sent it off and the results were just an unstable heartbeat, not life threatening though and this happened when I was a little sick and once I got better it hasn’t happened since so my guess is that it just happens when I’m sick so don’t worry guys I’m perfectly fine and happy
