I live in Kalamazoo. That Burger King has been closed and torn down now for more than 10 years. Don’t know if that office building has ever been a hotel but next to it was Monaco bay. It was a piano lounge and above it there are a bunch of suites that may have been a hotel before being renovated. Growing up I always heard stories about him being spotted around town 😆

I was a sophomore in college at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo in 1988 (Dalton school of music, studying bass). I remember hearing of Elvis @ Burger King on Mich. Ave. They said he was eating a Whopper and nobody had the nerve to speak with him. From what I remember, there wasn’t much dispute regarding it. “....yeah, I guess that could be true.....” was said a lot Long live the King!!

I think there are a lot of obscure things that surround his death. It is not odd to think he is alive. I am 57, a Elvis fan from The Netherlands. The facts are: People who are convinced he died can't be sure. People who are convinced he lives can't be sure. Even if he didn't die, he can't stay alive for ever. He will stay alive in the hearts of people.

I saw elvis at pizza Hut in collinsville va in 1991. It kind of makes sense because it is close to the Highway 220 going towards Roanoke and he really like Roanoke Virginia but that's pretty much facts I did see him and my aunt did too he didn't raise up look at people.. I mean he had a couple men with them had black long jacket and a white scarf on he was still kind of heavy set.. I mean with his accent you would think he would stay in the southern part anyway because of his accent just saying

I've seen a handful of people out in public that looked like Elvis. I've even been told by others that they saw people who looked like me. I've seen others that look like people I know. I've always heard each of us has several look-alikes running around in the world somewhere. It is just how human genes mutate. So if you ever run into one of your look-alikes considered it a rare encounter. Doesn't mean you are directly related. Just laugh and enjoy the experience. 🤣👍

I was 8 years old and remember hearing that story and at the time Elvis was really the only music I listened to until a couple years later so I remember hoping it was true and everything would come out that Elvis was alive, but ofcourse it never did. And what's even crazier is there are people who will still argue to their last breath that Elvis is still alive today.

Hey thanks guys for visiting Kalamazoo. My understanding is that Elvis stayed at Columbia Plaza during his visit to the Gibson guitar factory. Gibson left in the early 80’s. Two great resources for information is the Kalalamzoo Public Library archives and the Zhang Regional Archives located on the campus of Western Michigan University. Both were within 2 minutes of your travels in this video.

This is a valid search but if you find him, however exciting that would be, would you reveal it? Nothing added up about his "death" and if he didn't die that day then he definitely would have not been too long after if he had carried on working like that. He was not well. What is really sad is that many of his fans would rather him have died that day than fake it to go and have an actual life of his own. Some have said how angry they feel at the thought that he lived and they were "duped". So if you revealed where he was I think some cranky fan would go overboard. Much as it would be wonderful from one point of view if he wanted be out in the open he would be. If he is alive he is 87 now. I feel that it will come out if he was there in Kalamazoo. But why are you looking for him under his name. He wasn't allowed to keep using that name and if the information is correct he went through a few names.

Kelly Burgess was the lady who supposedly saw Elvis in the office building. She passed away not long after she gave that interview to Gail Brewer Giorgio. I talked to her son one time a few years after that and he never got back to me. Louise Weller was the lady who saw Elvis at a store in Kalamazoo. I doubt that she is still with us. The Burger Chef Elvis visited us no longer there, it is now a Julianna's restaurant that is located right off I94 Business Loop . I am not sure if he visited in 1998 but when Elvis was in concert at Wings Stadium it was the closest and had a drive thru that was open when the concert let out.

It's about an 11 hour hour drive from Kalamazoo to Memphis. I-94 to 57 to 55.

Plus..where do you hide a tree? In a forest. If he needed an office to do recordings or anything else and his voice was going to be heard outside at all then why not just label it as Elvis Presley because then people would just assume a soundalike was working. Who hired that room in 2010? Smoke and mirrors everywhere methinks. Did he really die on Aug 16th 1977. Have you worked it out yet? Look back at interviews, documents and footage. But be responsible with what you find. Please. If he sang again when older it would have only been because he was missing it and would have just done it for those who could believe it. Not for the full on public who would rather him have died than still be alive, particularly after they went and cried and all that. Just saying... if he lived instead of died it he may have hired out that place because he craved singing for people who loved him once more. But definitely would not have been rented in his own name (that he uses now). And Elvis Presley written on the door covers tracks because they don't feel surprised when a lookalike/soundalike goes in and out. Makes sense.

@@jimcowan8770 We have the internet now. You can get the old information and go through it. It doesn't take long before you see that no one could get their story right. The police report ...so many things revealed in that! Comments from fans who were outside the gates and saw who was going in and out. Times. Even the preparations that were made so fast? A megastar dues suspiciously, his family clean the room before the police get there, no one's story matches and yet the funeral is done and dusted in two days?? The second ambulance in the grounds. The slip ups in later conversations. Also one of his family members was in an Elvis is alive group. And when I spoke to him privately about things and who I believed it to be he confirmed my findings. I have trawled through the details for over a decade now. No way did Elvis Presley die back then. And although not brilliant in health he was going strong still recently, although he went almost silent after Benjamin was suicided. Yep I really believe he was because I know some stuff that was being said right before it. ☹️

@@jimcowan8770 They did clean it. And if he was dead and had rigormortis as Joe Esposito said, then why did they say they were trying to resuscitate him for almost 2 hours at the hospital? No stories match. And is it common to bury people in 2 days when there are suspicious circumstances? Did you see that funeral? How much preparation? How many white limos and flowers? Even his cousin said the "body" in the coffin wasn't right - beads if moisture? Soft hands when Elvis had calloused hands, a sideburn that stuck out and someone nearby quickly leaned in and stuck it back down. Dr Nick...hmmm.. wasn't there, was there, a fan saw him go in. The 2nd ambulance. You can either think what you were supposed to think or research it all. I honestly don't mind what people think. If I knew the address of Elvis I wouldn't tell anyone and I wouldn't invade his space myself. But I know what I know, and if you had researched it all you would know too. Plus if a member of his family confirmed my findings then I think he knows more than you so I will listen to him. Most prefer to think Elvis died. A few of us are delighted to find he lived. If he hadn't got out when he did he would definitely have died young. For his fans. I am so happy he had a life. And I know roughly where and four of the names he used. There are also decoys to allow for him to be at Graceland sometimes. A person I spoke to in Tupelo said lots of people there know he is still alive and are just used to it. You just need to do your research if it interests you, or keep believing he died. But don't argue with someone who has researched if you haven't. I've been at it for 15 years this summer.

This is a different story from me .I was in Wisconsin near Oshkosh .there was a place called Jailhouse rock .The bartender looked like Elvis he had on a western flannel shirt .I thought i was looking at Elvis .This was though 1985 . thought id let you know .

I live in southeast Michigan and my grandmother was a member of someplace that I ain't mentioning publically but they always had Elvis impersonators and one of them I was told was actually him and the only 1 I shook the hand of. I was under 8 years old and it was the mid 90's at the time. Of course at that age I had no idea it was all this stuff. And Ryan Upchurch actually talks about Elvis often as well in some of his videos so with that I kinda put 2 and 2 together the best I can. And I know for a fact Hitler died in Antarctica

When I film it doesn't go into the camera and then to the internet it is a long process and a lot of work.. I film and sometimes the video will not come out for 2-3 years depending on how long it takes me to get all of the pieces of the story..

On the other hand, I had a friend back in the '80s who dated a woman who was the sister of another woman whose plastic surgeon had a nurse who told her the janitor at her brother's high school saw Elvis at a Dairy Queen in Altoona, Pennsylvania in 1979. And you can take that to the bank. Well, anesthesia was involved, but still.
