I was originally introduced to him in the A-Team. He was amazing, I had a huge crush on him when I was a kid. I started looking at his older movies and he was great.

A great actor from Detroit. Enjoyed all his films. Even though his 🏠 town Dearborn. He is definitely a 🎥 film screen legend. A Team was a great TV series.

One of the sexiest men to ever live! Even as he got older the hotness didn’t fade. He really wanted to be known though more for his work and dedication to acting. He was a amazing actor and I know he had depth to him. I love him at breakfast at Tiffany’s but I look forward to watching him in the A team and other movies he was in. He really was one of a kind and very charismatic. 😊❤ lol I guess I got a little crush on him haha 😃 I mean who doesn’t! 😂

I worked in Hollywood for 5 years on a Studio Lot in the 70s. I was On Set for 100s of TV/Movie Productions. My SINGLE experience with GP suffice to say was the worst display of ANY Actor in my short career. He was late, sloppy, completely unprepared, didn't know any of his Simple Lines. I spoke to a couple of crew guys,,, they rolled their eyes, nodded their heads in disgust and said "Every day,,, but we get a lot of Overtime."

Really ticks me off, when these higher profile actors walk off sets for what ever reason. I'm an actor / stunt performer, I'm old school, when you make a commitment you see it through.

Thanks for this docu on George Peppard,it was very interesting. What i always notice and dislike a bit is that in your videos fotos are often repeated and are not in sinc with the progression of the story.Changing that would help enormously the progression of the storyline. We would see George age before our eyes so to speak.I know that there are probably legal rights problems with showing pictures one csn often secure out of the internet but trying to secure pictures to help the progression of the storyline would really help! The speakers voice is really pleasent to listen too.Succes with your videos!!!With kind regards Anne

Didn't care for BAT silly , stupid , unbelievable plot with Buddy Ebsen as her long lost hubby , quite unbelievable. GP an AH turned in creditable performances but really no plot , and what about dopey Mickey Rooney playing an offensive Japanese tenant , really , it stunk

Never understood why one person living off of another gets rewarded in a divorce. Why is that? If both actively contribute earnings yes. If minor children are involved who need to be cared for yes. However a woman who is capable and able to work being paid to stay at home bullshit, same for any man who married a rich or more successful wife. Child support always. Lazy ass support hell no.

I remember Peppard from Banacek, even though I only watched a handful of episodes. At the time I was in junior high. I was a year old when Breakfast at Tiffany's came out and I wasn't interested in The A Team at all. So, I didn't really know much about him until now. Wow... What a mess. The heavy drinking and his numerous failed marriages were news to me. I'm a little surprised that he worked in Hollywood after walking away from Banacek. If he walked away from the series to avoid paying support to his soon to be ex-wife, he sounds like a really vindictive dumba$$ pretty boy. Without naming sources, the tales of his conflicts with production seem more like gossip than real reportage. At the risk of George's memory being further maligned, I must confess that the stories didn't seem wholely implausible to me. If we'd been classmates, I don't think I would have liked him. It's probably good that we weren't. Since he can't be here to speak on his own behalf, I should probably just leave it at that. RIP George!

Look at the majority of celebrity marriages. They jump in and out of them all the time. Actors are Gypsies. They change their lives every two years. Add heavy booze and nobody wanting to grow up due to living in Babylon and this is what happens. I try not to judge because that world is so strange and unlike normal people’s lives

He was banned because he was a wretched creep, and came on to all of his leading ladies. No one could stand him, especially Audrey Hepburn. Patricia Neal complained about him too. I don't think the "Breakfast At Tiffany's" set was a happy one. Peppard always put a damper on things.

@JesusisKing sure many actors come on to their leading ladies, but Peppard was nasty about it, and excessive.

I agree 100%. His film Career also didn't amount to much but there was a guy named Robert Redford doing movies at the same time and did the handsome, WASPY, Trad guy shtick better and was overall more talented and driven.

@don5353 Peppard was a tremendously talented actor, but even ticked off other male actors. He was the original Blake Carrington in "Dynasty," but John James said he was weird and unprofessional. Peppard was fired, John Forsythe was brought in, and the rest was history. Audrey Hepburn was known to have a kind word for everyone...except Peppard. Says all.

@@wimbledon5353 Another WASPy Alpha Male actor of the same time, James Franciscus, also probably lost out to Redford in that category.
