I do not think we get transparent honesty .I think we are told a narrative she wants us to believe to help benefit her lifestyle Vlog and income.I get that though ,but it’s reactionary and contrived don’t be taken in , accept and enjoy for what it is.

I live in Italy vicariously by watching your videos every Sunday morning! It's become a thing with me and my two barn dogs! It's so funny when my dogs hear yours barking they go tearing off barking like crazy looking for the dogs they know they've just heard! Then they'll come running back into the barn and look at me like... Are we crazy? We know we just heard dogs barking! I connect my sweet little tablet to my Bose speaker for really good sound and picture! Carlo you cracked me up when you said what smells so good!? And then pointed out that Nicki didn't remember carrying up the box of dog food on her head!!! Lol😂. But you still love her anyway despite her memory loss!! Haha! Yep.. and just wait until 65 comes rolling around! Oh lordy!! Lol! Everything was awesome to watch happening in your world last week, and to see all the other cool stuff going on there and to hear it also. I just wish we had smell-a-vision!! Love y'all, from your Italian American KZbin Friend from East Texas, Annette Cinquemani (Fivehands) Falbo! The festival looked like so much fun! Great looking food too! (For dogs and humans alike!) Ciao!

So many lovely things in this video! I appreciate your honesty in showing us the reality of life from bad lighting to lapses in memory. We all have those experiences, and it would be easy for you to edit them out of your videos. Brava for being transparent and leaving them in! I loved the footage of the Sagra and even watching you tidy for your guest and make dog food, because of the genuine person you are. The spread on the table at the end of the video looked so delicious! Have a great week!

How sad that silly bureaucracy can stop such simple good fun: per usual the Italians will find a way around it. Bless the restauranters. I love the way your videos are full of every day chores and problems and you always manage to get a laugh out of simple situations. Great video Nicky and Carlo and any legs that can carry you up and down those stairs are great legs. Blessings to you both and the doggies. Cheers, Muffy from Oz.

I applaud the festival vendors for the extreme efforts they go through for this event. It must be much more costly and physically challenging to pay the restaurateurs for cooking the food, and then they have to physically haul it to the site. What happens when they run out of food? They must be very passionate about this annual event and could not wait another decade.

Right on, Nicki for being real! Many of us are having the same leg problems but it’s not a problem unless we give into the pressures to look perfect. Better to live our lives and accept the bodies that we are given at the different stages in our lives. Enjoy your shorts and enjoy your life! Life is too short to worry about such trivial things. Carlo had better watch out about your memory. It will happen to him too! Push him in the pool 😂. Lovely to watch your routines. Thanks for sharing. 💖

You did a fantastic job of making a good meal for your dogs. Our Westie, Willow, is on a raw food diet. My husband and I are true believers of a well-balanced diet for our dog. She is now six years old and has a beautiful, white, soft coat. We give her a raw egg three times a week and also give her coconut oil. I love the relationship you two have. Yes, I am forgetful at times. So many things going on in my brain at the same time.

I make homemade yogurt frequently using an Instant Pot. It’s so easy! My Instant-pot actually has a “yogurt” button. It keeps the mix at the proper temp for 24 hours. I use 1/2 gallon of whole milk with 1/4 cup of whole milk plain yogurt as the starter. Delicious!

You can buy live starter bacteria in most health food stores or online. Not expensive. They often come with a wider spectrum of good ‘bugs’. Then use your own yogurt as starter. Like keeping you’re own sourdough bread starter.

A million thanks to this inspiring video where you taught me how to make yogurt. I never would have guessed it’s so simple. The result is the best yogurt I’ve ever had. Since your video I’ve been making yogurt weekly. What I do differently is I now use the 10% cream instead of milk. I tried them all. 3.25 % milk, mix of milk and 35% cream, in different proportions but I ended up with the best one that is the one from 10% cream. Many, many, many thanks. I might never buy yogurt from the store again.

What a great video! Loved it. That was a very nice festival. I love Zeppoli! Where I used to live, the Italian American parish (church) has a yearly festival (they call feast) and I would go there mostly for the Zeppoli! I'd buy a whole bag of them and by the time I walked home, I'd have eaten most of them. Thanks for showing us how you make dog food when you think you ran out! Carlo is so funny sometimes. Those dishes at the festival made me hungry! I love all sorts of beans and vegetables. So funny that you forgot the dog food, I do this sort of thing all the time myself. We must laugh at ourselves from time to time. Loved it! Thanks for sharing.

Butter is easy to make in a blender - take heavy cream and blend 2-10 minutes until cream separates into butter and buttermilk - pour off buttermilk, add some water or ice to wash the butter and add salt if you want - that's butter!

Thankyou for the yogurt recipe Nicki, I will definitely make it. The Festa looked like it was a success. I love it when people get together like this and have fun. ❤

Everyone gets distracted doing housework jobs and taking care of a family! Makes us all feel better. My best friend makes her dog food and it is wonderful for them. No wonder they love your food. I bet they would like a “topper” on their food. Like a part of a scrambled egg. Dehydrate items as well. Another talent we did not know about. I bet the dogs love the smell and stay at your feet too!
