I know clubs throughout Europe especially hire & fire coaches & managers as often as they have roast dinners & with very little warning but I guess that covers most team sports. If a team isn’t doing so well, it’s more often than not the manager or coaches who’ll get fired but somehow, underperforming players aren’t affected or just simply get benched or rested 🤔🤔🤔. I can never figure it out.

The doggies f'd up when they let Dean Pay go. He was one of the best head coaches they have had in a while. Granted, he wasn't having the best time of it but he could have turned it all around. It's these high priced players that don't perform. That is where the problem is. If they really loved the game, they would play for a lot less money and be faithful to a team. Think about the good jobs that have come up, Sharks, Cowboys, Brisbane, Panthers etc.. since Barrett walked into Manly.. classic example of why young coaches should bide there time and wait for there right job.
