My hair still has a long way to get to your length. However, I have been washing my hair in twists and sections and it definitely has helped me reduce tangles which in turn reduces breakage and helps retain length in the long run. I truly enjoy watching your videos to learn and for motivation.

You’re inspiring to just wash my hair no lie. My hair has thinned due to health issues and it’s made me lose my love for my hair. On top of that, my hair comes to my thigh and a LOT of work and time. This inspires me to invest my time. Hopefully, I can thicken my hair back up…I miss my super thick hair…I’ve never had a length issue. Thanks for this video, it’s indeed encouraging.

Love it! Your hair looks amazing and healthy. For some reason, I can't use shampoo. My hair seizes up and tangles almost immediately as soon as the shampoo is rinsed. It's like it reacts badly with my hair or sebum and causes hundreds of clumps, like microlocs. I use clay and sometimes black soap instead. I put this all here in hopes of finding someone who can give me some answers. Maybe someone else has also experienced this too?

Wash in sections and find out what your hair likes. Try Suave Almond and Shea Butter shampoo and conditioner, but it from Walmart so you can return it just in case it doesn't work for you. Also, look into all natural shampoo I haven't tried it but it might be less drying.

Black soap and baby shampoo are the only things that don’t cause my hair to tangle when cleansing. Last time I shampooed my hair, the shampoo took forever to come out, and my hair was knotted and tangled nearly beyond repair afterwards. I lost so much hair that day trying to detangle it with conditioner. Never again lol

Maybe the shampoo you used is to strong. The ph might be to much for your hair. Try another one. Maybe just use a regular shampoo. I like Panteen Classic Clean. I have to use shampoo because I use grease on my hair. My hair doesn't tangle. Do you wash your hair like she does it? That's how I shampoo my hair. It helps to keeps it from tangling.

You can reduce it but all hair of all textures breaks. It’s natural.

No you can't completely eliminate it. Breakage happens anytime we manipulate our hair it is inevitable. But if you are gentle and careful with your hair, the breakage that does occur wouldn't be noticeable.
