Washer leaks from soap dispenser

I had a different sort of problem, but your detailed and clear video gave me the knowledge to fix it easily myself. I have a Kenmore HE3, which is similar but different from the one in the video. Instead of the flexible black hose that had the debris clogging it, my machine has a hard white plastic pipe -- and it had come loose! This caused water to cascade down the inside of the washer cabinet instead of it running out the detergent drawer. So I removed the spring from the seal, pulled out the pipe and saw that was loose and the gasket was misplaced. Thanks again!

I had the same problem I saw the video so I could locate the problem which was accumulated soap powder under the dispenser and on top of the water pass tip. thanks for the video creator

Before you got hose off I thought maybe a laundry pod was blocking it ..I never had luck using those they don’t dissolve well for me . Especially ones when first came out I even put them in boiling water to try to dissolve and it was a gloppy snotty mess with what looked to be pieces of shiny plastic . I have front loader and have found socks in the rubber gasket normal male adult size over the calf socks . I had one get wedged in between the gasket and drum and it broke bearings washer .

@@kevincurley5065 use washer empty without cloths for 1 or 2 cycles get rid of excessive soap build up ✌️

Mine has the same problem with one huge excemtion. All the water flows quickly into the drum when I open the door. Is there kind of ventilation hose that is clogged?

How did you take off the metal ring that held the gasket ?

But the washing machine has another metal frame around it, so it's not really possible to put the hand in. It's an Eudora babynova 355 model.
