Thank you for being transparent about the shampooing process. So many influencers leave out the cons. I do wanna try the bar shampoo but just didn't know which ones could work. I'm heavy handed too and so I try to dilute my shampoo with water as much as possible. But it can still leave residue.

Absolutely. I never want to intentionally mislead anyone and if there are cons I’m most definitely going to point them out. I can’t have anyone out here walking around with residue in there locs because I didn’t give them the good with the bad.

Have you tried the simple washes? Like aloe + ACV + baking soda? If you have, what were your results?

I have never tried that combo with aloe. I have done acv baths with the Acv and baking soda and lemon but never tried with aloe. I always like how stripped it gets my hair but then I have to do moisturizing treatments afterwards. In fact, I’m due for an acv treatment when we get back stateside.

I only wash my hair monthly but ive found the baking soda does the scrubbing, the ACV breaks down the oil, and aloe puts moisture back. Plus one of my jobs is in a warehouse so stripping and tons of moisture is VERY important for my locs to stay soft. Im a bleeping lady after all. 👸🏿

Ok well let me get home and add some aloe to the mix! After being out of the country and having all this foreign dust and whatnot introduced to my locs, I’m going to need some TLC

@@DavidJaysWay Thats just a lil loc fairy dust. Youll probably come back with 6 extra inches of hair over there with all that fresher than here air. 😭
