I got my traceless today. Used it on my f80, then my TV, then the fridge lol. Something you don't rave about with it that you could, is how well the sprayer atomizes. It sprays a really good range too.

You will love the Model S. I have two of them - one a long range and the other a Plaid, both with FSD. One thing though, FSD is still not very reliable. I now tend to use it only when the road is very congested with a stop-n-go situation or when there is a long stretch on the fwy without much craziness or very late at night.

To prevent the slow filling of the buckets I fill them up before hand with the garden hose and then connect the hose to the pressure washer after. Glad to see another Wash & Talk 👍. Btw I am excited to attend some of your Cars & Coffee meets. It would be a 2 1/2 hour drive for me, but I can see it will definitely be worth it. Great work Matt.

You’ll definitely like UniFi kit, I’ve been running the switches / APs and cameras for a few years with minimal issues. Though a £80 camera gift from my fiancé did then cost me around £400 in kit to get it working 😂

The Golf Blue RS is a much better looking car than the Touring. It really looks great on camera. Id really like to see that color out in in the sun. The Evo on the other hand is very awkward looking on camera.

One thing I did not like about the OG/DF brush was I found it difficult to manage the bristles around the lip of the wheel so I am hoping possibly that there will be a revision in the near future. I prefer the true and tested Race Glaze brush for dressing still. I'll repurpose the OG tire brush for some other task because it still is a good brush!

I think I'm retiring my PF22.2 after seeing this video. I think having one Boss foam cannon with multiple bottles of product is the way. Just keep a cup of water to flush the foam cannon portion when switching product. Multiple bottles is more reasonable than having multiple $100 full setups.

I’ve been using the metering tips with purple tips and straight GSF and it’s awesome. Huge time saver. I asked Griots what the expected dilution is and they said about 1:10.

47:30 the Griot’s Metering System is incredible. I use the purple tip for my contact wash soap and aqua for Touchless and it’s the same thing. Insane foam and barely used any product. Super convenient.

Matt, You mention trying Darkside.. Get a bottle of Koch Chemie PSS put a sprayer directly on the bottle or pour into a Pressol take the dispenser cap thing out and spray on a microfiber applicator pad, It’s an absolute dream and so easy and fast to apply.

I’m a huge UniFi fan as well. I have and entire setup in my house to include UniFi protect. You should do a video on that installation. I think is a great system that doesn’t get enough exposure.

Matt, I myself also haven’t really messed with the metering tips. But loved the foam action you got with. And I’m going to try it as well with GSF. Did you end up using the same 150ml that you like to mix with water, while using the metering tip? Will be awesome if we can get the same if not better foam action. While using even less then 150ml.

When you use the metering tip, you use straight soap.

I just washed my car today and was amazed at how much foam I got. I maybe used 30Ml or less. With straight soap. It’s a game changer. And I can’t believe either of us didn’t use them before. Plus another benefit is the soap might have slightly stronger cleaning power since it’s just straight up with no dilution.

ahh man love these videos. The boss foam cannon, I am not sure how I feel about it. The one thing that bothers is, when you go to adjust the fan spread, the whole nozzle moves. Meaning you can turn the fan blades horizontal. It moves. when you go make it tight, it stays horizontal. Not sure if I am describing it right. I hate that. If the griots foam cannon wasnt designed to change the fan blades to go vertical to horizontal, why is it loose? I emailed griots and they said its normal. Not a fan.

You don’t need horizontal for car washing. That’s why it is only vertical adjustments. The whole black nozzle turns. To either tighten the vertical spray pattern. Or widen it. If you don’t touch it. It doesn’t move. The thing is awesome all stainless steel. Pretty great.

@@byronnix1628 I think you may have misunderstood my post. I might have no explained it well. I never wash my car with a foam cannon with a horizontal fan. Yes, the whole black nozzle turns. It rotates. opens and closes the fins. BUT, the actual stainless steel fitting inside MOVES. so if you keep turning the black nozzle, it changes the way the fans sit. you can actually get them to go horizontal. That is why I contacted griots bc I thought both my cannons were bad. and if you keep turning, the fitting so to say gets tight. Like a screw. It cant go anymore. Its sealed. Its screwed in tight. which is what it should be. But when its tight, the fins are horizontal. If you have one try it out.

@@ita-n6gno I understand your post. I’ll tell you this. For mine. It literally turns one way until the fan blades close. And it stops tight. Then you turn the other way. Fans fully open and then it locks tight, and you can’t turn it any more. Unless I really forced it hard. You def got a bad one or something is tightened. They are not and should not be loose like that. I just tried it on my foam cannon and I can’t get my fan blades to turn horizontal. Unless I force it super hard to. Which would probably break something. If there was a way I could show you with a video I would. You can try pulling out the nozzle lock pin. And pull the nozzle off and see what’s going on.

@@ita-n6g yea I def would contact them. So if you put your arm out straight. Rotate your hand one way. Then rotate it the other way. It stops both times. That’s exactly what the boss foam cannon does. The fans stay vertical. And they close or open. If you want you can always email me a pic of your nozzle assembly and I can compare it to mine. Or show you mine.

GSF is a ph neutral soap used for general washing while Reset is a stronger non PH neutral soap in case you need a stronger pre treatment or you notice some slight mineral buildup.
