It was a very cathartic experience for her. She said that after filming this video, she felt so much lighter, more agile, almost as if she could take off from the ease of just being. I guess after recording that song, she was finally relieved and finally the time came for her to forget that relationship, to put it in a box and put the lid on forever. Don't forget to give her brother the credit he deserves for his excellent music production. Billies songs wouldn't exist if not for her brother. Take some quiet time and really listen carefully to her music. Listen through the entire album and be impressed by the excellent production from her brother Finneas. The way that guy layers vocal tracks and small details in the background and heavy bass beats with lovely melodies. They create the songs together so they are equally to praise for songs as good as happier than ever. The music both of them make is truly unique and they deserve every bit of the admiration people are throwing at them because they are absolutely themselves and they just make great music without any BS and it's honest to goodness good work and good music which is why people love them. Like you pointed out when have you ever heard a song start with old-timey jazz sound and then punch you in the face like that. The way they mix genres and sound modern and Young yet have a range where people of all ages like it equally. It's really great production which most of the credit goes to her brother on that. Billie is a fantastic singer but the more music I hear from Billie eilish the more fascinated and more respect I have for the great work her brother does. It's really fun to watch what they create. They are really good at what they do and hopefully we can enjoy their work for decades to come.
