Does this assume full frame and ignores crop sensor impact on focal length perception? I’ve got Canon 700D APS-C camera. This means my 50mm is zoomed in, more like 80mm on a full frame.

I'm buying my first camera and lens combo soon. I'm looking at the Sony ZV-E10 camera and the Sony Alpha 16-55mm F2.8 lens. Because it is a crop sensor camera, does that mean the lens is actually 24-83? Or is that lens made specifically for crop sensored cameras?

I wanted to go for 24-105mm F.4 with stabilization but I'm worried that I wont have enought bokeh in the background while filming, also Is expensive (1200€). With almost the same amount of Money I can buy a 35mm and a 85mm boh 1.8 but unfortunately without stabilization. What shoud I chose? I dont know what kind of works Im going to do...

So on a aps-c sensor it crops in AND zooms in right? So a 30mm lens on a full frame camera will zoom in on an aps-c camera to 45mm right? So technically you get further zoom on aps-c cameras?
@MrPaulXavier Жыл бұрын
Crop in and zoom are used interchangeably here. When someone says it CROPS IN, they basically mean that the resulting image will look ZOOMED IN. So really one and the same. Either way you are correct. The final image is more zoomed in
