Theres more that goes into truly maxing out your bike than just pinning the throttle...as I learn in filming this. going fast in a straight line on the highway is just about the easiest thing you can do on a motorcycle. If you want to "max it" then challenge yourself with some twisty roads and see how good you are at keeping your momentum through the turns

I agree with you, I probably used the wrong word. I was just testing the top speed here. As you said to push your bike to its limit you need to add in a mix of other elements like cornering, braking, etc that will show just how much the bike can actually handle.
