Stopped using flipper magnets after they scratched two of my tanks. Great marketing, will definitely scratch your tank.

Brother, you ain’t lying with the pond liner. It has saved me as well and my wife would have killed me too. Lol… As for that imperfection, you should order a Jebao SCP-150 and just place the magnet over that spot.

Glad it helped you! I already got a jebao scp-150 on the other side, but unfortunately the cord isn’t long enough to mount the controller on the left side and run the pump on the right side.

@@shallowreefing I had the same issue, so what I did was run a longer cord from of the power outlets on the left side over to the right and bought the Kasa Outdoor plug that splits it to two outlets and I am building a mini control board to put the Jebao and MP40 controller on for the right side of the tank.

Talk of the scratches. Don’t leave your scraper in the tank. Stuff grows on it and you might not see it and it’s scratching the glass.

I make sure to leave it so the blade is out of the water. But things can get between it. Before I use it I always take a look under the main part. Maybe I could have missed something.

@@shallowreefing I do the same sometimes but I only leave in a few hours. I normally store it on my pump on the dry area of the glass. Beautiful tank and was considering a IM Ext tank but now I thought they were made better. I just got a Seapora (Deep Blue) )60 Frag tank 48x24x12. Nice and shallow I’m super excited to build it.

What’s the difference in ext and int on site they look the same.. Int is not AOI apparently.. I’d appreciate an explanation 😊

Ext is external overflow. Int is internal overflow. So if you go with the ext you will have more space on the inside of the tank. But you can’t put it flush with the wall

It’s pretty good. All glass scratches. I have a few scratches but they are minor. I did have a blemish on my glass when they shipped it.

30 inche front to back including the 4-5inch overflow so technically it is a similar standard size 70x24

No. 30 inches front to back. Then add on the overflow. Internal dimensions are 30 front to back. Plus add on overflow.
