I wonder if you can powercoat or Cerakote a dial... Not sure how they will hold up. Electroplating should be interesting too! That is a very cool print technique! I did not know you could transfer indicies or printing that way! In aviation part manufacture we use a similar technique on sheet metal part where we make a jig that we can put a blank on and then press it with a bladder press or pneumatic press in order to add detail or shape. Yes, Cerakote is an option and powder coat too. The possibilities are nearly endless if the paint route is chosen.

This is great thank you! I have a question about the date disk(?) do you also do the same type of ‘stamping’ or other printing method for the numbers or are most date disks(?) pre-made? Your work is beautiful.

Date disks are made with the same method, but the teeth are masked before painting and printing. There are standard date wheels, but they can also be custom made. I choose to custom make our date wheels for our watches with date complication so that the colors match our dials and the font is the same as our dial numeral font.
