I would think that's normal because you're reserving it, not purchasing. But I would definitely reach out to their support for assistance just to confirm. Best to luck with your new purchase

Congratulations on your new to you car purchase! I've always wondered about Cavana. Good choice on the Buick Encore, I've had two a 2016 and a 2017, both were good cars. I leased them. They get excellent gas mileage for a SUV, I could get 35 to 37 mpg on the highway. The Only common problem I had with them was the battery had to be replaced before two years, but that seems to be the case with most cars anymore. Good Luck!

They take care of the registration for the vehicle. It's just like a standard motor vehicle registration. For insurance you have the option of using their insurance or your own. But proof of insurance is required if you go in your own way.

I had to search for this video...I wouldn't have insurance because I don't already have a car. If I go to one of the hubs could I just have it insured there? Or do I have to have it pre insured

You just tell your insurance company the day you're going to get the car. Then your insurance company will also give you proof of insurance that would start on that date and you can share that with carvana

Yes a trade-in will apply to your purchase price which would reduce your monthly payment.

For purchase, interest rates will come into play. And that can depend mostly on what your credit score is. I have a two year lease and here are the details : Current Base Payment Due $746.16 Current Tax Due $57.83 TOTAL PAYMENT DUE ON 12/11/24 $803.99

That’s a great question and I was actually wondering the same thing. Essentially the pricing on the website is just the low end estimate not including taxes or any type of interest rate because it depends on your credit so what they’re giving you is a baseline. In my case, it wasn’t far off from the original quoted monthly payment. I think it was about $756 and then I just needed to add in tax and that ended up being my monthly payment at approximately $800.

@johasettapia411 the other thing I would add is you can back out at any time if you’re not comfortable with the amounts as long as you don’t do the special order the special order has a nonrefundable deposit. If you select from existing inventory, I think you can still back out and get your money without penalty.

I paid cash. You give them the bank information / credentials they electronically confirm funds. They don't take the money until the day of delivery or after the 7 days I can't remember which.

I just know when you pay cash you do not need to advise the bank proactively. You just give the details to carvana and they confirm funds. I hope that helps. If you're financing I'm not 100% sure I would reach out to carvana. Best of luck

It's been some time and they may have changed things... It was not that painful of a process. Yes, you'll need to show the person when you pick up the car that you have insurance. Hope that helps and good luck with your purchase.

Do they verify your income? I know this video is from 2 years ago, but I thought I would ask. I am self employed, and my boyfriend works a steady job. We need the car in my name tho. The “pre approval” went through without a problem, and I even got to the drivers license part but stopped and started my research 😂 so here I am. We don’t have direct deposit, but put money in the bank frequently. Just don’t want to get my hopes up on a vehicle just to have them think I can’t afford it because I’m not married 😂😂😂

Thanks for reaching out I understand 😃 They do ask you if you're financing 100% yourself... Which would mean an all cash purchase - this is where they verify funds in your account. Or you can do financing through them or some other method. If you're financing I do think there is a level of verification I'm just not sure of the complexity involved. Thank you for your video I'm currently in the market for another vehicle and I'm seriously considering using Carvana. You didn't mention if your delivery was going to be free or are you being charged because of living outside of Carvana's normal delivery area ? I also wanted to mention I like Carvana still accepts cash payments where as traditional car dealers try to steer you towards financing a vehicle because the dealership makes more money on financing and add ons like additional protection glad Carvana allows you to opt out of those things

For the delivery fees I don't recall...but I believe it was included in the price for me. now it's been awhile that could change and like you said depending on the distance there might be a delivery fee. The thing I will say they were very nice about taking the car back if needed within the 7-Day window. but as you know I kept the car and still have it it's been running great. We were very happy with the experience.

I understand that no one likes getting screwed over at a car dealership, but I would *never* buy a pre-owned vehicle sight un-seen just because I don't want to deal with people who are getting paid to do their job. Thank you I totally understand. But you really do get a 7 day, no questions asked guarantee. I purchased many vehicles from many dealers and I still love the experience so much better. They also insure it for any major failures for 3 months or 6,000 miles I believe what I remember.
