“Kim Kardashian is president and I haven’t aged a bit because I moisturize” 👌🏼👌🏼😂 your personality >> I don’t think Miracle Gro soil is bad in itself. I’ve heard several people say they had gnats in their fresh opened bags though. I just know that their fertilizers at least are bad for worms and microbial activity in the soil because of their synthetic sources for nitrates. I gardened organically for the noms before I started caring for houseplants and just ended up treating them the same as I do my edible plants and herbs. But if it works for you and you’re container growing, I don’t see what the harm in using that soil would be 🤷🏻♀️ Everyone has different mixes that suit their environment, humidity, watering tendencies, etc better and your plants look pretty happy to me!

I don’t like organic materials in my house because they tend to smell, and pots are too small to support worms and ecosystems for the most part. To each their own 💚

I got the one pictured with two good sized leaves and out of nowhere they started to die when propagating. The cruddy looking one was the leaf that survived. The new one is pretty though!
@WoodlandT4 жыл бұрын
I got 3 Peru cuttings from a well known KZbinr. 1 was beautiful & healthy. 2 arrived looking pretty bad, very thin leaves, one nearly black & had scale. The other was bent at the petiole w/ a big tear in the leaf. It was not shipping damage/stress. He sent me unhealthy cuttings. The good leaf rooted out nicely in sphag and is in soil producing a new leaf. The other 2, I’ve watched slowly die over the past 2+ months. The leaves are now 90% black & crispy, no root development whatsoever. He’s been absolutely no help when I asked for guidance. The nodes haven’t rotted yet. So I guess I’ll give them more time. It was my first time buying cuttings & my first real wishlist plant, pretty disappointing
