You'd be amazed what you can train a bulldog to do. I used to own one with a complete set of tricks, speaking on command and obeying hand signals. Bulldogs will surprise you. Just have a pocket full of treats at all times.

I am 6'4" and made my bed 4' tall so its easier for me to get in and out and she clears it no problem from the sitting position it's quite the sight. When she walks she looks like spiderman climbing a wall and she is so blazing fast. I thank my Belgian malinois for keeping her in shape because she try's to keep up with her.

Poor choice of words on my part. By standards I did not mean AKC standards, but rather how most people think a bulldog should look. Too many people think a bulldog has to be overweight - and they love the wrinkles, so they overfeed their bulldogs. Plus lets be honest - they do love cookies and snacks and people food and are amazingly good at begging - if they were not trained to have better manners. The result is you rarely ever see an athletic bulldog here in the USA. But its not as unlikely as people think. Depends on the dog.

Amazing, how a bulldog should be. If you look at Rudy, the reason why he was able to move so fast and so effortlessly is because he isn't built as heavily/disproportionate as most bulldogs. But this is much healthier as this way he is putting less weight on his joints and has less obstructing his face when he breathes. If I saw more bulldogs like this I'd be a bigger fan of the breed

Yes we call them zoomies... Very short bursts of energy where the bulldog exerts an entire days worth of energy in about 2 minutes of complete insane running through the house.... Jumping up and down on the couch... Throwing toys in the air and catching them... until they are exhausted and then sleeps for another 23.5 hours to recharge for the next zoomies session.

A dog with the aerodynamics of a house-brick, but yet flew that course like he was shot out of a cannon. _I'm_ impressed, but my Dogue de Bordeaux just looked at me, farted, then ambled slowly towards his bed. _His_ classification of ''Agility'', is whether or not he can get his back leg high enough and keep it there for longer than 2 minutes, so he can wash his bits n pieces.

Yup...he erred on that first backside jump because the trainer was improperly positioned relative to his exit from the previous obstacle leading into the approach to the backside. That's an uncromulent layout and done deliberately to challenge both dog and trainer. She chose a Dagobah technique when everyone in the arena knew a Quadrophonic Blaupunkt is traditionally used in those circumstances. Unless of course if your entrant is a Czechslovakian Weasel Hound. Then you would want to use a Romulan discipline.

Just so people know, this is an exceptional english bulldog. Trying this with most bulldogs now could actually be very dangerous, as the facial anatomy that they are bred to have makes breathing and temperature regulation quite difficult for the vast majority of them.

Weird Alien We have an Old English Bulldogge and he could easily do this physically. If you want the look of and English Bulldog but you want athleticism, try and Old English Bulldogge. Be warned they are just as stubborn as the English Bulldog.

Dom Yelin I’m an RVT so not quite a veterinary dr but I was taught about the respiratory (and other) problems that virtually all english bulldogs have to some degree. The cause of BOAS is really as simple as the facial conformation they were bred to have. Physiology is kinda hard to argue with, even though 200 strangers agree with you ya know?
