The Eastern Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) is conducting joint military drills, code-named Joint Sword-2024A, around the island of Taiwan from May 23 to 24. Various ships arrived at the designated sea area and swiftly deployed for combat, with main and auxiliary guns, missiles and other weapon systems prepared for immediate strikes.
