Its a pretty good one car garage as it can be quiet, comfortable and efficient but can become loud, dynamic and engaging. @ollyvoxx Жыл бұрын
S55, especially when kept stock, is very reliable so long as regular maintenance is upheld, same for the B58 in the supra. For me personally, the M2C is the only way to go. Usable back seats, more power, and a pull handbrake. But if those things don't matter, the supra is a ROCKET and one of the coolest looking cars you can buy today. They're both bang-on reliable, too. You've got more upward tuning capability on the S55 I'd think, though, if that's your thing.

Sadly the manual version is not available in my country, I would have bought the manual if it was. Still I am having more than enough fun driving the DCT M2 Comp. It is the switch between the two that makes the experience of driving the M2 Comp even more special.
@dt6cars5803 жыл бұрын
Confession: I own a DCT m2 comp. However, the majority of people (myself included) can’t afford to have 2 cars and therefore need to be able to get decent mpg and practicality but also be able to get fun out of it at weekends. I don’t think one can be concluded as better than the other- they just suit different uses. I had a 2016 golf GTI manual before and loved it, but having moved to DCT, I think it just takes a while to learn how the car interacts to get the same enjoyment out of a DCT car as a manual. Once you get used to a DCT, its still great fun, just in a different way to a manual in my opinion. But yes, in an ideal world we would all have a great manual 2nd car for the weekends… if we could all afford a 50k car as a second car.
@JonathanTyas3 жыл бұрын
I don’t see getting dct as a compromise as it’s a daily, anyone can drive a manual as a daily, ok might be a bit of a pain in traffic but it’s fine. I chose the dct as it is the better box. Better span of gears, changes faster….only downside is low speed control when parking etc.
