I have a Jacoby custom built cue made with a 314 original. I just bought a Jacoby Black and hit 10 or so shots. The JB deflects about the same as a regular shaft and not even close to low deflection like my 314. A shame I dropped over $500 on it. Zero chance I will attempt replacing my 314 with JB.

@@Larryrandom2549 He must have adjusted without realizing or compared it to regular wood shaft. They are not LD though. The sound of that Jacoby sounds a lot like my predator vantage shaft which feels like a broomstick compared to my new shaft which is the TIGER Products Fortis 12mm. The feedback response and sound of the Tiger Fortis is better than any carbon fiber shaft I’ve played with and I’ve tested out numerous carbon fiber shafts. It also has the lowest deflection of any of the carbon fiber shops I’ve used before. It came stock with a Tiger “Onyx” tip and is by far the best tip I’ve ever played with. The Tiger Fortis carbon fiber shaft also has the closet feel to Wood than any other carbon fiber shaft ive ever used. Next time anyone’s in Burbank California go to TIGER Products and you can test it out yourself. Let me know what you think. Be well everyone.

I just ordered a custom carbon fiber shaft, just form a small town cue maker and was $275 got exactly what I wanted. I play with a revo, hoping what I bought i shoot better with and can turn my revo into a break stick lol. Plus less than $300 for a carbon fiber shaft is worth it just to try it lol

you dont even say how the deflection is with the jacoby, I mean I can see it but not clearly, normally with other shafts you put the numbers on screen, so I guess maybe jacoby higher deflection than the others like revo/rogue/prime etc?

Nope, just easier to edit this way. All my newer shaft videos I do that same. The deflection can clearly be seen on camera.
