I have a Jacoby custom built cue made with a 314 original. I just bought a Jacoby Black and hit 10 or so shots. The JB deflects about the same as a regular shaft and not even close to low deflection like my 314. A shame I dropped over $500 on it. Zero chance I will attempt replacing my 314 with JB.

The sound of that Jacoby sounds a lot like my predator vantage shaft which feels like a broomstick compared to my new shaft which is the TIGER Products Fortis 12mm. The feedback response and sound of the Tiger Fortis is better than any carbon fiber shaft I’ve played with and I’ve tested out numerous carbon fiber shafts. It also has the lowest deflection of any of the carbon fiber shops I’ve used before. It came stock with a Tiger “Onyx” tip and is by far the best tip I’ve ever played with. The Tiger Fortis carbon fiber shaft also has the closet feel to Wood than any other carbon fiber shaft ive ever used. Then go play for money and earn your way to a carbon fibre shaft, ya cheap skate.

A high-performance wood shaft is still gonna cost you almost 300$ so why not spend 150 to 200 more

The hit of the shaft sounds horrible. I do not like the sound, so I can't imagine I would like the feel of the hit.
@zachmccraw83814 жыл бұрын
The shaft doesn’t sound anything like that in person. I have one and a good friend of mine does too and they sound almost like a wood shaft. A lot quieter than a revo.

@@zachmccraw8381 I think it sounds great. It's rather difficult to get accurate sound even with a decent mic. Has a crisp tonky hit in person. The hit and sound will also vary depending on the butt of the cue.

@@zachmccraw8381 I actually can't imagine that Jacoby would make any shaft that does not hit really nice. I always really liked the hit of their cues.

@@justinbryson5392 They make great cues

If you are concerned about the noise of a cue, you got bigger problems that doesn't involve billiards.

Fyi the 4ball comes before 5ball in the run out video. Lol

Aramith Black edition set has the 4 ball as pink and 5 ball as purple. I hit them in the correct order. If you looked closely, you can see the numbers. lol

Well looks like everyone has copied Predator...still the best cues around.
@JH-fk8ow3 жыл бұрын
no, predator company didnt even exist when there was first composite cues.... They just made huge marketing campaing with the release of revo, however there was shafts that had carbon fiber cores at the time. no one copied predator. the tech has been out there for many decades.
