I love that overall Silent Hill 2 feeling: the James Sunderland outfit, the makeshift weapon, the flashlight, the map on the wall, the monster, and the relieve when he finally finds that box of ammos... the only thing a little bit off is that it looks like a PS1 game runing on a X360 :)

Not bad. Most people haven't mentioned the subtleties conveyed by the lead actor - he's very good. Had to express most of his mental state without words. Creature design was spot on. Like the idea and the ending. Well done.

As soon as he started banging on the screen, I knew that this was supposed to be the point of view of the playable character in a horror video game. So cool!!

Flawless 10/10*. This is what made me fall in love with the alter series of shorts to begin with. Films like this with monsters and such. They really put the hammer to the nail on details and filming. I was let down by alot but when they do these kind they truly rebuddled them self's. Idk what side wants to have more of this the gamer or movie fanatic side. I wanna play it n watch lol. I love how they gave it a levels feel. Hope to see LEVEL 2 🙏

I have been watching short films for while...years, on and off! ALTER never or very rarely disappoint the viewer. Other makers of shorts do not "consistently have" great acting, great story with well worked in plot twists, great film/camera work and made with a suitable budget. So go ahead and ALTER your film experience.

This was STUNNING! I am not a video gamer so I didn't see the ending coming.....and the jump scares really got me too! Excellent film, so intense....I guess the cockroach is the metaphor for the man....indestructible and compelled to keep finding a way to escape

Super cool! I must say that in the beginning I thought this would have been the usual VR horror stuff but as the action developed I was totally hooked up. It gave me old "Alone in the dark and Resident Evil" vibes (having to save and count ammo is the worst!!!) And the main character was very convincing, handsome guy too, and I loved the transition in the ending! Good! 👏👏

Every time I see films where someone in wandering around in the pitch dark in a big warehouse or aircraft hanger, I think of a xenomorph unfolding itself from some ridiculously tiny space the person just looked into without seeing it. That's affected me for life, thank you Ridley Scott!

So watching this I was trying to figure out what was going on. I was making speculations and assumptions while enjoying the set and atmosphere. What would I do in this scenario? And then the ending comes and I will say I loved it. All my analysis and bam we get an ending that lands as smoothly as a jet fighter pilot on his 1000th landing. Plus never saw that coming. The title is perfect. The location and lighting used added to the whole film experience. Great work to all involved and thank you. That turned out to be quite entertaining. Peace.

For All & Any Alter fans, Awhile back there was an Alter short called "Piggy", this now appears to be a full length picture courtesy of Magnolia Films & some other folks. I saw the movie trailer yesterday (10/3) & the main actress is back & so are a few others in the short! Figured I'd pass this along!

Most gamers would know what;s going on pretty much from the start. But it didn't make it any less intense really. It was pretty spot on as a Resident Evil style movie. It also reminds me of the character animations they sometimes put in games when you don't play for a few minutes and just leave the protagonists hanging there and they break the fourth wall and usually do something pretty cool and funny, like look straight at you and start tapping their foot...etc. lol
