So sweet! I am lucky enough to still have my mother. I tell her everyday how much I love her. Believe me, she knows it. I was not easy to put up with and I've been able to make up for that as well. I understand how much you miss your mother. Believe me when I tell you, she knows you love and miss her. Blessings

@@happymethehappyone8300 I can't imagine. I never had kids so I might very well end up on my own. I have 3 beautiful nieces but I can't imagine they'll be into taking care of their old aunt T. I wouldn't expect them to. I hope you have many friends who you consider to be like family. I only have a couple that I consider to be that close.

Yeah, as many said, this song was written after the loss of his dad. This song sure got me crying. You know, I was my mother's care giver for years. She passed away this last year. I've had so many people die in my life, but nothing prepared me for the death of my mom. I never knew I could grieve so much. This song is so beautiful. Thanks for your reaction. I'd put the groups Bread and America in the same categories. Both have an amazing collection of songs.

It's definitely worth taking a dive into Bread. They are full of beautiful lyrics that all have so much meaning. They've gotten through my life in so many instances. "Make it with You" "Goodbye Girl" "Diary" "Sweet Surrender" and it goes on and on. Really the epitome of '70s ballads. Give it a try. I don't think you'll regret it! Peace!

Tonight you’re playing one hit after another- all songs that Ive loved for a long time. As I recall bread doesn’t have a huge catalogue but when my sister came home with that album that everybody bought -one side was all love songs & the other was hard rock ‘n’ roll, we played love song side constantly! lol. Memories ….! 👍💕 Btw, your words at the end had me tearing up!
