"Do the helmets stay on?" During season 1 I think it was mentioned that Mandalorians basically "retire" and get married, so no boning while following the creed.

BTW, the bulky-armored Mandalorian who challenged Din and Bo-Katan's approach to the covert is named Paz Viszla. If you watched Clone Wars, you know that last name is going to be meaningful to Bo-Katan Kryze...

Nothing else has worked for Bo-Katan, I think she is 'The Convert'. She just saw a Mythosaur, which she thought was just a fairy tale, so if that is true, she may be thinking the old ways are 'the way' to unite her people. Can't wait for next week, such a good season. More Bo!

After rewatching season 2 I don't think she's a convert. To me this episode showed inverses of each story. How the new republic deals with former enemies, they are willing to mind wipe people into line. Pershing seemed to actually believe the new republic could be good that he could be good. The opposite we see the covert who didn't like bo katan immediately bring her in once they saw she had bathed in the waters no questions asked. But to me bo is just out for power to ultimately rule mandalore. She flat out says she doesn't follow the way in the past 2 episodes, she's also not transparent about seeing the mythosaur. She see all this as a means to an end for her. Imo

Theories here. Kane is ISB and working to wipe out all imperial failures, including Moff Gideon to pave the way for Thrawn. I also think that Bo Katan is preparing to challenge Din Djarin by creed so she can reclaim the Darksaber. That will be respected by his order and she will be able to restore Mandalore without their interference. This is the way.

Ok, so as far as Beefcake Lady, my stepdad thought that she might be working to break out Moff Gideon (and taking out Dr. Pershing as a liability, something like that), but then we watched a video that suggested that Thrawn was coming in. Gideon is in prison, and all of his fleet, crew and such are locked down on Coruscant, so who blew up Bo Katan's castle, and with so many ships? I think they are leading into Thrawn entering the scene as the main villain, and probably has Beefcake Lady acting on his orders to take out all the people who failed by the end of season 2, so I think Gideon might be next after Pershing. As for blowing up Bo Katan's castle, I'm not sure, maybe to take her out of the fight, or maybe to draw her out for a fight; we'll see. I feel like this might be heading into the Heir to the Empire storyline I've heard about.

I expected the main arc to follow Mando's "redemption", too. Now its looking like the former Imperial is setting up the main story. Also, I can't help thinking we haven't seen the last of the pirates from the first episode yet.

Oh, it's going to have a SERIOUS IMPACT on present AND FUTURE EVENTS. This leads in to Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew...both of which involve The Outer Rim, The Unknown Regions, and Force-sensitives in danger from nefarious (even Dark Side) hidden forces. It should be beautiful, mysterious, and exciting.

We have seen like also how "good" Rebel Aliances are. Yeah the rest of it felt like they were shoving a pilot episode about cane and pershing in and I just did not give a shit. I know they did something similar in BOBA by having an episode really be an episode of Mando and Grogu, but that's Mando and Grogu. Did anyone care about Pershing or cane enough to want this? Also it makes the new republic look really fucking stupid and just sets things up for their fall in the rey sequel trilogy, again something I really didn't need.

If you love spending a day waiting in line at the DMV, you'll love this. If not.... well, the first 10 minutes are cool.

Yep. R5-D4. that's why the mechanic lady on Tattooine tells him to "Shut up or I'm selling you back to the Jawas." Also the R2 units are older than the R5's but they are considered much better droids overall.
