*CORPSE BRIDE* is way too sad and wholesome

Tim Burton likes to make some artistic and creepy stuff, and Corpse Bride isn't far from that. This movie is a touching story of a depressing world filled with characters trying to take advantage of one another, but one thing happens to shine through the empty grayness... and that thing is money. Just kidding, its love. It's always love. The undead bride saves this down bad hopeless romantic and frees herself while bringing love to his life. Overall its a sweet and touching story that we enjoyed, but still made fun of, in a kind way lol.

The sadest part for me in this movie is when Lord Barkis says "I left you" and she replies with "for dead", since he hit her over the head and she was buried it means that he just asumed she was dead (or didn´t care) and buried her alive!

Victor’s family are fish mongers and are wealthy but don’t have high society status where as Victoria’s family were wealthy and part of high society but has lost their wealth so they are marrying her off to victor for his family’s wealth. I love this film

The 'downstairs' the dead reside in here is actually limbo, where the departed have unfinished business from life, and when said business is complete, the dead then go to either heaven or hell. The way they look is due to their earthly attachments showing how long they have been there, bodies slowly decomposing until they become skeletons.
