PSA: Urine does not help a jellyfish sting. Neither does rubbing alcohol, ammonia, pressure dressing, or scraping out stingers. Depending on the type of jellyfish, those things can actually make it worse. You're supposed to remove the remaining stingers carefully, with tweezers, and rinse with water as hot as the victim can stand (not scalding), then use hydrocortisone cream as needed until it doesn't hurt anymore.

And where they got it from Also some questions: I have some creams/gels that are good for cuts and burns etc and I wonder if they'll work on or increase Jellyfish stings? And would aloe vera work? Cause I know it helps with a lot of different inflammations

He can have the correct opinion, but still be in the wrong. He was wrong to be an insensitive asshole about it when he knows Phoebe, knows how big of a heart she has, and knows the trouble she has connecting with her family. Without even trying I can think of at least 8 more empathetic and mature ways to approach Phoebe and convince her to take the cat to its family.

I still laugh at the hypocrisy of Rachels line "once a cheater always a cheater". She is the one who slept with Barry while he was engaged and kissed Ross before he had broken up with Bonnie. Obviously she has no problem with cheating just as long as it isn't her that is being cheated on.

The encyclopedia salesman is Penn Jillette of the magic duo Penn and Teller. They still perform in Vegas and have their own show called Fool Us. My husband and I went to see them when they did a show local to us, and I got a pic with Penn. We saw their show in Vegas some years later and I got picked to go on stage with Teller. I was so not trying to get picked, but it was a lot of fun. I got a souvenir from the trick he did - a fish bowl and a bunch of pennies. Fun fact - there is another 90's sitcom called Dharma and Greg (it has the guy that later starred in Criminal Minds) and Teller has a guest spot in it where he plays a guy who thinks he is a cat. Dharma and Greg is a great show that you could react to. I haven't seen anyone else do it.

I am a guy as well, if Rachel wasn’t hanging out with Mark the whole time, especially when she knew Ross had a problem, none of this would have happened. She also didn’t value Ross’s time. In the 2nd episode Ross has a big night and Rachel wasn’t considerate in being there to support him on his big night. Seriously I think you need to look at the big picture. Look at most of the comments, few people credit just Ross for the breakup. Like I’m sorry but you are in a minority here, and it’s sad how some people like you phrase your comment. Thank you!!! People do all sorts of nonsensical mental gymnastics to make excuses for Ross' bad behavior. Having sex with someone hours after taking a break (a pause, not a breakup), no matter what hairs are split to justify that, it's still sleazy whether someone officially calls it cheating or not. Ross has a pattern of behavior cheating on Julie, Bonnie, and yes, in my opinion, Rachel, and that's in addition to being demeaning to Rachel about her job, first saying she's "just a waitress" then when she gets a job she loves, he says "it's just a job." Ross reminds me of my abusive father. Ross can be nice, and to people on the outside, he seems like a great guy. However, there's a need to always be right and a rage under the surface when he doesn't get his way. Remember Ross was Monica's bully growing up and as soon as he and Rachel became a couple, he started treating Monica like dirt again, so much so that Monica informed him that she HATED him when they were kids. It says a lot about someone if they feel entitled to bully family members. Ross is not boyfriend material. My boyfriend then eventual husband always treated my jobs with respect, whether I worked with a hot guy or not, because he respected me enough to not assume I'd cheat on him just because there was someone attractive around me.

I mean, the concept of not being able to deal with guilt and acting like Phoebe did with the cat COULD HAVE been really interesting. But too much focus was given to making Ross out to be the bad guy. It could have been interesting if Phoebe found out about the missing cat herself and had to come to terms with it, process that her mum is gone and her trying for a relationship with her bio mum doesn't make her a bad guy, and feel bad that she made a little girl worry about her pet. It could have been really moving. But I hate the way they handled it. Phoebe has the most tragic past out of all of them and it's always played off as a joke, not really given much emotional depth, she can be an absolute dick to Ross many, many times and it's "a joke" but when Ross stands up for a little girly missing her cat, he's somehow the bad guy??? Yeah, hate it.

As much as I love Rachel I have to say that That was the 1st episode/1st time that rly made me hate her SO MUCH, in that and the season 3 finale, she was a devil mean beech, literally tried to set him up to fail on his date because she thought the girl was bald, made the girls head to shave her hair off(and gave her the blade), and then again reveled that she still loves him and "made" him again break up to his current girlfriend just so *AFTER* he broke up with his girlfriend she gave him a 18 pages list front and back only talking bad about him and saying that she would only accept him back if he takes full/all responsibility to everything that went wrong in their relationship even tho he had already broken up with Bonnie, like wtf what was all of that about??? She literally waited him to break up with Bonnie just to give him a 18 pages list, she could literally gave the thing to him when he was with Bonnie, but no, man I remember when I watched the show for the 1st time how I hated that episode so much, sorry I can't defend Rachel in this one sure Ross did bad to her but man that was messed up, was all for literally nothing coz they didnt got back together, one of the reasons why I always skip the season 3 finale and Season 4 1st episode when I'm rewatching the show coz I rly got mad when I watched it for the 1st time lol, but their their fight in the end rly pays off episode "You fell aSleEp? FRONT AND BACK, FINE BY ME!" One of the most iconic Ross and Rachel moments, and their most iconic fight, Ross screaming in her face FRONT AND BACK and FINE BY ME, I would be mad too honestly lol, but I still love Rachel XD, Rachel for days, just that episode made me rly dislike her, but it's ok

So, Rachel's behavior regarding the letter has always irked the hell outta me. If this was SO important to her, and if she couldn't even think about getting back together with Ross until this was resolved, then this is something she should have brought up with him BEFORE she made him break up with his current girlfriend. I'm not letting him skate here; he obviously wasn't that into _her_ as a whole human being if the mere prospect of getting back with Rachel was enough to make him want to leave Bonnie, and he couldn't deal with her shaving her head. I think the relationship would have played itself out pretty quickly anyway. But Rachel was WRONG here: she totally led him on and wanted him to come to her room, AND he told her he was going to go break up with Bonnie _first_ instead of cheating on her. If she was having enough doubts that she could fill up 18 sheets of paper, she should have said so to Ross right then and there. And btw, I'm a writer and a nerd, so I HAVE to say this, because it bugs me...Ross, she couldn't fill up 18 pages "front and back." A page is ONE side of a sheet of paper, as my Literature teacher stressed during the year and a half I had her (1 semester for Sci-Fi/Fantasy Literature class, 2 semesters of standard Lit.) Every time she had a new group of students and told them they had to turn in 2 pages of Free Writing every Tuesday, they would all groan, and she'd have to remind them, "I said 2 pages, not 2 sheets. Just 1 sheet of notebook paper with something on the front, and something on the back. You should be able to handle that." So, Rachel filled up 36 pages...and it's no wonder that made Ross fall asleep.

It seriously shouldn't take more than a half hour unless he's seriously cognitively impaired (though that would explain quite a bit). And then he lied about it. He also did not cheat on Rachel i stand by that. He messed up but he did not cheat. Both he and Rachel thought they broke up and he got drunk, thought that she was moving on cause Mark was over, then was taken advantage of by a girl who didnt care. I never understood the whole Ross and Rachel relationship, I never actually believed Rachel even liked Ross. She didn't even see her that way until he bought her something?? Kinda weird, and she never liked his job and neither did he like hers, they had no respect for each other's careers, were both really bad at relationships and they never fixed their issues, were both cheaters don't pretend like they weren't, on a break or not (Ross with Bonnie, Julie, Rachel kinda, and Rachel with Barry/Mindy and now Ross/Bonnie). Also the fact Rachel had Mark over after her and Ross fought over the idea of Mark and Rachel for months before finally going on a break, how did she think Ross was going to react when the one guy she told him not to worry about was the very next person she hung out with right after breaking up with Ross. They were both awful for each other, aside from couple scenes I just never got why she would want to be with him. Oh and the whole Phoebe mother cat story, it's one of the most infuriating ever, along with many other Phoebe ones. The best part of the early Friends is finding out Phoebe's past and her discovering her family and reconnecting with them and after a while it seemed like the writers forgot to even address that, her mom showed up in maybe one more episode after this, her dad once, Frank showed up buncha times but still, we wanted her to be with her family and they were building up to it for so long only for them to forget to go back to it once she met her parents. Really sad. I love this show, more than any other, but there are many things that I wish were changed.

Ah yes…Ross cheats again! Even if you don’t believe He cheated on Rachel he did cheat on Julie with Rachel and now did it again with Bonnie. The second episode is easily my most disliked episode of the entire show. PHOEBE NEARLY STOLE A LITTLE GIRL'S CAT! If some crazy lady with mommy issues would try that with either of my cats I would end her. And Ross is the only responsible person (possibly because he is a father) and gets all the hate, even though he doesn't' argue with Phoebe until after informing her about the little girl she still tries to keep the cat because of her nonsense. Not to mention that she refused to deal with her emotion by staying in her delusions. Chandler and Joey's storyline is great though^^
