I've always noticed that too. That episode where George thinks he has the perfect comeback insult is a perfect example. George flies all the way to Akron OH to get another meeting with this guy, uses his big insult (won't spoil), the guy reverses the insult on George, and George says "well I had shex with your wife!" and the older exec running the meeting stands up slowly, and says very quietly and firmly to George "his wife is in a coma" with the perfect expression of held back disgust. Just a spot on delivery.

The funniest things about Seinfeld shows are that the most oddball mundane things we as people think about, his show made a topic and storyline about it. The next day “at the workplace water cooler” (back then) we’d all bring up the show and laugh about the same topics. That’s where sayings like “double-dipping” or “They’re real and they’re spectacular” or “Master of your domain” or “Queen of the Castle” came into pop culture lore. You’ll discover more as you watch more episodes.

Saturday Night Live has an old Sketch called "The Crime Scene". Its about a crime scene that takes place inside an apartment that looks almost exactly like Seinfeld's place. The Detective and a uniformed cop are examining the scene. The cop happens to mention that the Apartment looks exactly like Seinfeld's apt. The detective OTOH reveals that he doesn't own a TV and has no idea what "Seinfeld" is, and has never even heard about Seinfeld, which the cop finds very hard to believe. The cop then observes that the apt owner was apparently a very big baseball fan because of his collected memorabilia. Again the detective says "Whats Baseball"? The cop is incredulous. Then they both see two bowls of soup on a nearby counter and speculate that maybe the killer murdered his victim over a bowl of soup. To which the Detective who doesn't know anything about Seinfeld asks, "Like some kind of Soup Nazi?"

The thing about the final shot... the Polaroid of George standing next to the casket... just think about how funny THAT is alone. Like, imagine him trying to set that up. Trying to convince a bunch of people he doesn't know to take a photo of him beside their recently deceased loved one. Think about the awkward conversation that would be... all just to save a couple of bucks off a plane ticket! I swear, the comedy in this show goes beyond what is shown in any one episode!
