I just searched for a Source Code movie reaction not expecting anything to pop up just like usual...

As others have said - so good to see a reaction to this underrated film. I think JG's acting, particularly in the first 15 minutes is phenomenal. His reactions 100% convince me of his total disorientation but also his professional training as a soldier / pilot. I would have gone to pieces but he keeps it together.

I've always really liked this movie. So well made in every aspect. It even hits the feelings. I've never bought the physics of it, but I'm always a hard sell on that stuff. I had no idea this was directed by the same who directed Moon, but that makes sense. I loved Moon. I'll throw out a recommendation because I haven't seen anyone react to it in some months, another good movie, which I happened to have named myself for, Alita: Battle Angel (2019). action, scifi

"Physics of it" for real? Do you think about "physics of it" while watching "Back to the Future" or "Terminator" or "Groundhog Day"? It's just a plot device.. It's one of best movies Jake Gyllenhaal has ever been in, and it's a crime that this the only reaction to it. Reactors are such pathetic hiveminds

@@shredd5705the best Jake Gyllenhaal movie is clearly Prince of Persia.

@@gavinderulo12 No it's not. But Source Code is severely underrated. Rotten Tomatoes editorial ranking placed it as #3 best Jake Gyllenhaal movie. With critics average score 92%. (Prince of Persia was #33)

I remember going to see this movie in theaters with my mom. We had a good time. But the ending did leave us confused as to what happened. Did he time-travel and change the past? Has he created a virtual reality of his own making? Or a possible split timeline? And if so, then what happened to the guy he's possessing the body of? Despite the ending not feeling as well developed, I do really like this movie and think it's one of Jake Gyllenhaal's best performances. I was originally hoping they would make a sequel but now I'm hoping that this stays a one-off. Not everything needs a continuation, and this is one of them.

I didn't hear you mention that Duncan Jones is the son of David and Angela Bowie. The one thing I think you're overlooking is Colter Stevens as Sean should bring a boatload more joie de vivre to Christina's life than Sean would. We don't know a whole lot about Sean but we can certainly guess he doesn't have the experiential appreciation of life and the value of love that Colton has. Now we can probably deduce that Christina wouldn't be with a complete loser but to think that he'd approach the extraordinary level of humanity displayed by Stevens. I think Christina's life will be several levels richer with Colter than with Sean. That's not a little thing.
