Just had a good day at Bishan AMK park - white throat kingfisher, common flameback woodpecker, and a black viper eating a frog. eco tampines now on my visit list

Welcome to Singapore. Glad you have a good time at BAMK park. I wonder if it is the Equatorial spitting cobra that you have spotted? Also, there is a spotted wood owl family with a baby at Bishan Ang Mo Kio Park, car park A. maps.app.goo.gl/oSeCRb57HDDr6Exw8. Someone spotted only last week. Wonder did you visit this part of the park? Wishing you luck - to be able to spot many wildlife while visiting the park. 😃

@@kimpriority Thanks. Not sure which cobra it was. It looked all black, with the folds behind the head, so I thought Black Viper - a quick search and it is most likely the black spitting cobra, but it didn't have the flattened neck when head was up. I'm here until 8 July, so hopefully lots of wildlife photos.

I found on the Google that the Changeable Eagle-hawk is found outside of Singapore 🇸🇬, such as Brunei, Malaysia 🇲🇾, and elsewhere.. is it a migratory bird of prey ?

how crowded is the park?

Tampines Eco Green is extremely quiet when I visited after 9am. When I visit alone, I took extra caution on my surroundings. The shelter is also limited. So if you like to visit, my advise is to go with another person. Then you will be able to enjoy the calm and forest feel of the place.😉
