Sheesh. A lot of a Hyundai haters in the comment section here. I've owned my 2019 Tucson for almost 5 years now, bought it at 36k miles and have had one issue with the motor which was covered by the dealer. Other than that, its been a tank. I plan to get the XRT version of the Santa Fe soon and i love what they did with the styling. Every who is bitching about the transmission should realize they get one of the best warrantys with hyundai/kia so you shouldn't be too worried anyways. Every new car has some sort of issue lmao.

Currently leasing our third Hyundai Tucson. The 2022 engine blew at 20,000 miles while we were on vacation in Pennsylvania. Called the Hyundai road service number on the drivers side window & they picked up the car 45 minutes later & took it to the closest Hyundai Dealer, Frysinger Hyundai, in Mechanicsburg, Pa. Hyundai furnished us a rental car from Enterprise to drive back home to Indiana. Frysinger updated us regularly & installed the new engine. Hyundai made arrangements to ship our car to the dealer we got it from. We picked it up & turned the rental car back to Enterprise in our town. While I can say it was an experience I don't want to go through again, I thank Hyundai for doing everything possible to make us whole again. Next lease we will definitely consider the redesigned Sante Fe,

A lot of people are complaining about the location, as you can't really see it very well, and its a twist grip shifter, which is a common complaint on the BMW i3 and VW vehicles. I wonder how long until the EU regulates them out of existence. They're already stating that for safety purposes, having all the climate and infotainment in a tablet, will not get their top safety picks, because its considered a distraction. So they're only giving top marks to those with buttons.

I wanted a matte brass calligraphy Santa Fe, but I just couldn't get over the rear. I loved the interior design and the way it drove, but the rear just looked unfinished to me. I bought the AWD 24 Kona Limited instead. It was the best bang for the buck once I decided to go with a Hyundai.

I'm car shopping right now as I'm coming into a small inheritance. Better check your reviews as 3 of the top 10 cars NOT to buy are Hyundai's. While they've come a long way since their original garbage, they still have a long way to go. Don't be a sell out and endorse a product that you know is crap! They probably make them "easy to work on" because they are going to be in the shop as much as on the road.

The fans turning on when you unlock/approach the car is often done to help clear stagnant new car smell from the car. That's how volvo does it at least, and as the car gets some miles on it it'll do it less and less. No idea if this is what they do on this car though.

Wow, that thing looks good! Has the aerodynamics of a brick but you can't deny the warranty is nice as well! I'd say buy it, looks good and drives well! I saw your house, good try hiding it! I kinda had an idea, wasn't even close!

At first I couldn't place the look of the rear, but it was somehow familiar. Then it came to me... It looks kind of like the old Volkswagen Vanagon from the 1980's.

I'd be worried about the high failure rate of their engines and transmissions. They don't give much warning when they give out either, so it can be a safety issue.
