Some will have paper trails that come to light some years later when they do something really stupid and we see it was all hidden from view. Same with assaults on the streets at a bar, DWI, theft. All hidden until something happens where it can’t be hidden any longer and then Ofcorse some go on to retire and no one had ever found out in their case. It’s a normal benefit of being a cop. You can kill babies and the rest will just go along because you own a uniform

I'm a cross-country 48th state truck driver and in certain situations because we are professionals we are held to a higher standard and if we break the law say in a construction zone or even a simple seatbelt violation some states are penalty is sometimes double that of normal everyday citizens. I should be held at the same standard if they break the law their punishment should be greater than the average citizen because they should be held to a higher standard

The worst video I have ever watched on KZbin was about a police officer who shot and killed a traffic accident victim who was sitting at the top of his car, after the car flipped and landed on the side. The victim climbed all the way to the top through the open window, and was sitting on the ledge, when an old police officer got out of his squad car and shot him for no apparent reason -- instantly killing him. As far as I know, this video was removed from KZbin, but it can be found elsewhere.

One honourable mention is George Gwaltney. He was a California highway patrol officer who in 1982 raped and murdered a 23 year old Robin bishop while he was on his graveyard shift. He was given 90 years in prison until he died from a heart attack in 1997

It was like a war zone living here in Minneapolis while everything was going on. I Live 5 minutes away from Uptown and with this horrible horrible police officer did caused chaos in the land that I grew up in. Another pair of police officers who should be on the list were Officers Frank and Lazarus. Antoinette Frank was an officer who, with her boyfriend, not only committed many heinous acts of theft, but also massacred a fellow police officer and members of a restaurant's staff who were all family members. Frank was only brought to justice because some of the members of the family had been hiding, and the cops who responded to the scene noticed the obvious fear of Frank that was apparent in the survivors' faces. Officer Lazarus was a female cop from the American heartland who, angered by her ex-boyfriend's decision to marry the love of his life, who was a caring, very popular nurse named Sherri Rasmussen, decided to murder that said nurse in cold blood in her own home. Ms. Rasmussen's husband and her family pointed out Lazarus as a potential suspect for the murder, but police shifted focus instead upon the husband, which led to the case going cold. However, it was only till 2009 that a cold case unit decided to reexamine some DNA evidence found at the scene, along with Lazarus' own shaky interview, that brought her to justice for the brutal slaying.
