It's sadly ironic that Steve Irwin died in a tragic accident involving a sting ray, which are usually harmless, as opposed to a venomous snake or crocodile. At least Irwin seemed to be calm when he realised that he was dying, and didn't even blame the sting ray, saying that it didn't mean to injure him so badly.
@tcttvradio2 ай бұрын
Sting rays are venomous and you are not meant to swim over them, they can see up but not down. He must’ve resembled a shark as he swam over it because it stung him over a hundred times in a couple seconds directly in the chest. It was both their faults and it fully intended on killing him. I went to his zoo and got to see the funeral footage on the big screen.
@hjusn2 ай бұрын
He always said that he would probably get killed by a marine animal. Land creatures were a part of his life since childhood but the ocean wasn’t his element. Sadly, he was making a special for children in honor of his daughter when the stingray felt threatened by the presence of him and the cameraman and flicked its tail. The barb struck him in the heart. I live in "Earnhardt Country". We're very protective of the Earnhardt family here, except Teresa. I went to high school with Teresa. Dale taught my driver ed class because Teresa got him into trouble. He used to do burn outs in the parking lot every Friday when he picked her up from school. The local police here (Boss Hogg G Tolbert) busted Dale for "destruction of property". He got fined to repave the parking lot, which was mostly gravel then anyway and he had to teach my Driver Ed class for one afternoon as community service. He taught us about racing, how much he loved it, and signed autographs. This was 1979. I was one of the one's protesting Teresa wanting to turn Dale's farmland into a business zone. The City agreed with us.

@caltoonfangirl7109Ай бұрын
Yeah. That’s why I don’t find her death all that sympathetic, tbh. I am sad that she died, don’t get me wrong, but she could’ve easily prevented it if she didn’t handle snakes, especially a venomous one like the King Cobra, carelessly, like she did. I felt like she shouldn’t have handled snakes at all if she was just going to provoke them by throwing them around like rag dolls, but if I were her; I would use non-venomous snakes, handle them with care, and MAKE SURE THEY WERE DEFANGED. However, if I did end up getting bit by that King Cobra (I wouldn’t want to be near it, because I’m deathly afraid of snakes, but hypothetically speaking); I’d take a ten to twenty minute recess, so I could get the antivenom. That way, I could still perform without running the risk of traumatizing my audience. She did everything wrong in that situation, if you ask me.

Landis and several others involved in the film were tried for manslaughter and, thanks to their high priced lawyers, got off scot-free. Landis was the one who came up with this idea of the scene with Morrow and the children crossing a river while the helicopter was flying low over them. I remember seeing Karl wallenda falling to his death on TV when I was a child. That is something you can never unsee. It was very traumatic. I had never heard of the guy until that day. For longest time the view of him falling and hitting played over and over in my head. Still to this day I have flash backs of it happening. I am still stunned that it was shown on TV back then.

I’ve always wondered what would have happened if dimebag survived. Gone too soon, may him and his brother rest in peace ☹️❤️

Tiptoe through the Tulips isn’t “sometimes used in horror movies”. It’s in Insidious. 🙄

Bit disappointed that Lane Frost wasn’t on here. He was one of the best bull riders of all time and when he got off the bull it rammed into him and he died almost instantly

You should’ve mention Juan Gabriel. Also, El Perro Aguayo Jr, a wrestler who died in the ring.

I remember watching TV when Karl Wallenda fell. I had a bad feeling about it from the start. It was so windy and the wire was swinging all over the place. I couldn't believe he made the attempt. When he fell, everyone in the room gasped and our mouths hung open in shock. The room was silent for over 5 minutes. It's so vivid in my memory.

There were so many more layers to Edward Lee Morgan's death that wasn't mentioned in this video. 1) Lee wasn't just shot by a "girlfriend." it was his so-called common law wife (Helen Morgan). She killed him out of rage and jealous. 2) He was playing at a jazz club called Slugs (in NYC)when this event occurred. 3) Given that it was the early 70s (and yes, there was a bad ❄️ storm that happened), "first responders" neglected to reach him due to racial biases (this is a known fact). I'm not looking for anyone to agree with me regarding anything im saying. However, if you're gonna talk about a public figures, demise... either tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth or dont tell it at all.
