I have gone through several pairs of gloves in the last 2 years 7 months. The thumb and index finger on my right glove get a lot of wear doing the crown and bezel tests. Some watch channels output one video per week. I am uploading my third video today. 364 videos done in the last 2 years 7 months, a massive body of work. I am actually trying to reduce my content output rate to 1 or 2 videos per week; however its difficult as brands constantly send me watches for review. Regards, #WR4K

@@arsonfireuk I am paid by brands/dealers to review their watches, and or gifted the pieces. With mid-tier; French, German, and Swiss, pieces they are usually loaned, rather than gifted due to the higher value, therefore I charge a review fee. I receive daily emails offering me pieces for review, the majority of which I turn down as they are low-tier AliExpress watches. Reviewing these watches gains low views, and low AdSense revenue. Also they sell for low prices on eBay post review, therefore they don't interest me. With the CHRONEXT partnership contract I was paid to produce 40 reviews within 12 months. They loaned me 40 pieces, paying for the shipping, and insurance. I had to purchase a fire proof safe which met their insurers specification. The majority of smaller watch channels receive a discount on the retail when buying pieces for review on AliExpress. The larger channels receive gifted watches as payment for reviewing them. Often they will be gifted pieces, and use affiliate links in order to earn commission on the sales. I have a policy of not using affiliate links on my channel. I prefer to be gifted pieces, and or paid a review fee. This means I can be honest, unbiased, critical, and impartial; as I am not dependent on giving a positive review in order to increase sales, and affiliate commission. Regards, #WR4K

I love that unlike other watch reviewers who own higher tier pieces, you still review value and/or homage pieces. I think others are too uptight about homages. Just about everyone starts out learning by at first copying. And honestly, some of these homage brands make improvements that you don't get in the originals. For example, I prefer not to have a date complication and absolutely hate the cyclops date. You can't get a sub without one these days. Also, I like how the crown is more snug in the guards. The case shape is just better.

Thx for the complete review which reassures me, for I just ordered one 3 days ago (pity, if I had waited, I could have used your link and coupon). Glad they unified all the markings with the hex logo. I also like the movement, which I find slightly less ugly than the NH35. As for most no date watches, pity about the datewheel remaining or phantom crown position. But changing this would surely increase the price. I would have loved if they kept their version of the glidelock clasp, even if this one is beautiful. I will check if I can adapt my own steril GL from AE. There are big chances.

Just to confirm : mine has 90 clicks bezel. The bracelet is compatible with any aftermarket glidelock clasp, fyi, and also the SM clasp is adaptable to an Oysterflex rubber strap. One negative : the movement holder is plastic, which I find cheap for this price level. Otherwise all good.

I'm waiting for the release of the blue version, I already own a Cronos 16015 in black but this SN006G-B1 in blue will be a great addition, I asked the SM store on AliExpress and they said it'll be ready in about 2 to 3 weeks, so hopefully in time for the 11 sale. I would also like a blue snowflake version, hope in the future they do one.

I want to take something from San Martin (Submariner Homage), I choose mainly from your reviews - on sn017-gv3 (nh35), sn019-g (pt), I haven’t decided yet, but one of these three. It is a pity that now for some reason there is no fastener with Glidelock on the sn019 model. In general, I want to take it at the beginning of next month, thank you for the tips!

I recommend this piece, or the SN017-G Samet. The YN55A and NH35A feel smoother to manually wind, and are also more reliable than the PT5000. Agreed it is a shame San Martin stopped using the Glidelock style clasp on the SN019-G. The 11.11 sale is a good time to buy. Regards, #WR4K

I recommend this piece Lance. The clasp is better quality. I also prefer the smoothness of the YN55A when manually winding to the PT5000. The YN55A is more reliable than the PT5000. Regards, #WR4K

Best vintage submariner homage. It's a shame they discontinued it. I just ordered this model that is exactly the same but with snowflake style hands. That's the closest they had on the website. I was reading online and apparently the hands on the nh35 and yn55 are interchangeable (some say yes some say no) so I'm not sure should i keep it stock or install the mercedes hands because I want that look

Hello sir. I have this watch and it's really great but I have an odd question: I like the vintage sub look and I would like to convert this watch to a gmt coke by changing the movement, drilling the dial center hole to accommodate the gmt hand, change the bezel insert and so on. I've been looking at forums and yn55 and nh35/34 should be interchangeable if I change the crown stem. I was curious about your thoughts if you ever did a similar mod

Yes, this is the same quality as the SN006-G2. I intended to add this piece too my collection, but the bracelet is too tight on my 8" wrist. I am satisfied with my Black Bay 58, so don't plan on collecting more pieces in the future. Regards, #WR4K

Yes Mark. The Epson YN55A is the same as the F6922 which is used in several Orient watches such as the Kamasu. Therefore it is a reliable, well proven, workhorse movement. I got robbed my Cronos. They told me the package had been delivered and I never received it. They couldn't even tell me the name of the courier that provided the delivery or who the signatory was and am now in a lengthy battle to try and get my £200 back

I have this watch and I have to say I prefer this crystal over the flat. The curved edge of the crystal gives the illusion of the dial being very close to the crystal and you have this clean, slim look. Flat crystals give this look of the dial being sunken in deep and there's the mental ring around it it looks bad to me it's hard to explain lol

I own about 4 San Marino but I don't buy them anymore. San Martin watches are getting too expensive especially at current us exchange rates. No longer champagne watches imho.

Very informative. But I think you put the watch too close to the camera the whole time. It is good to see the detail but this will make it difficult for viewers to see the overall aesthetic of the watch.

The quality of the bracelet is night and day also male end links create a ugly gap on the bracelet and the silver ring on watch is ugly thats the reason I sold that watch I got sn019 but the it has the same bracelet and the gap is even more and for some reason the back of the watch pull arm hairs

Bezel action is the same as a SKX..? Come on....the SKX feels mushy, San Martin has a TOTAL different feel and sound. Crispy, not mushy....
