Once in a while, I find myself having trouble connecting the water and sewage pipes to some existing water and sewage piping when I build something. It can be tricky, BBB... 😏

I have given up with this game, it's broken me. I had a city with 98,000 pop, 1.5 billion in the bank and doing quite well, then disaster struck. The game will load ok and it starts up, after two minutes the monitor will turn off and there is nothing I can do to get it back up, I am looking at a black screen, all I can do is press the button on the computer to turn it off. I can play many, many games on my computer with no problem, the only exception is this poxy game. I got my computer 3 years ago and when I ordered it I upgraded everything to the max, it cost a lot, I was even thinking about getting a new one in fact I looked and the cost of the new one would have been 3,400 quid. That would have left a hole in my account, but, as I enjoyed playing CS1 I thought it was worth it, not any more. 4 days ago I deleted the game from my computer, there was just so much wrong with it, the bar was saying I need housing yet there were buildings popping up all over the place being abandoned, then everyone was waiting for an ambulance or a hearse everything came in blocks. I am not even going to play CS1 anymore, I have recently upgraded the memory on my PS5 and have bought a few games for that, CS1 and 2 have been dumped after nearly 7,000 game hours, that is how pissed off I am.

Dang John.... you have every right to be angry. I stick by my original advice in this instance, give it a year and have another look (if the urge strikes). This WAS released too soon - (even if it was too late for the decision makers). Imagine being a chef at a restaurant. A request for a roast chicken meal is recieved, and they want it in 30 minutes. You have nothing prepared. You start roasting the chicken, after 45 minutes the managers tell you to serve it up. You know the chicken is raw in the middle. You serve it up. People get sick. Here we have a game which will be a delicious roast chicken in a year. And then the mods will be all the trimmings. But it has been served up raw, which is a disgrace. Luckily there are other games out there - I'm lost in one of them at at the moment. And of course CS1 exists with all of the modded depth that it has. You should do what is right for you, but I hope you do check back in towards the end of '24, even if it is to prove me wrong, which I never am, unless its hexagons...

Was thrown into it by This Old Gamer.... Valheim. Honestly, everything a game should be. Will upload something at some point on here.

The only three negatives on Valheim: 1. Visuals are brilliant.... and also to a degree pixelated... which adds to the charm 2. AI is a little predictable, like most games I guess, so you can spot patterns... which when one on one with an enemy is easy to read. Not so easy when you are being raided. 3. It's so engaging you won't realise how much time you have lost. Life affecting.
